I memed again. This time, it's about characters I like in fiction I either dislike or am just not fond of their canon.

1: Leah Clearwater (Twilight)

I absolutely despise the Twilight series. I think Meyer is a shit writer and that the series has disgusting morals, unfortunate implications, and unlikable characters. Leah is the only character I like, and I think it has to do with how she's the only character in that entire goddamn series with a character arc, along with me feeling bad for her due to how her own family shits on her nonstop. Plus, she's just awesome and the only character who actually had the balls to call Bella out. And in my opinion, even though we don't see it, I'm pretty sure that everything she said was true.

2: Trent (Total Drama series)

I mainly like him due to him being The Artifact in my own writing. Back when I was a dumb 14 year-old Suethor, he was one of the Stu Groupies in a badfic starring a shitty self-insert. Once I tried rewriting that badfic from scratch with lots of retcons and OC removal, I just gave him some character rerailment and made him IC, and I became fond of him again.

3: Elma (Xenoblade Chronicles X)

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is probably now my favorite video game, and I'm a pretty big fan of the first game, too. But Xenoblade X... not too much of a fan of it. Between things like Tatsu, the NLA day theme, some underdeveloped characters, and the story that I find rather underwhelming, it's probably my least favorite of the three. Even so, it's got great content, and I do enjoy the game because of the exploration and sidequests. My favorite character, though? Elma, because she's cool.

4: Master Ava (Kingdom Hearts Union Cross)

This one's kind of a stretch, as the reason Union Cross is my least favorite Kingdom Hearts game is because of the gameplay mechanics. I chose Ava because she's my favorite of the Foretellers, though I also like Ephemer, and Ven is one of my favorite Kingdom Hearts characters.

5: Johan/Jesse Anderson (Yugioh GX)

Not really a fan of the Yugioh anime. Too over-the-top to the point it makes characters like Zeke or Pinkie Pie look calm, and the dub is crappy in hindsight. GX is even worse, and I find Judai to be annoying. Johan, on the other hand, is probably one of the only likable characters to me, as I actually used a Crystal Beast deck back when I played the card game. Plus he sometimes has an Espeon wannabe on his shoulder.
