this mod is being worked on by Toad Stool, right now it's a little broken due to the Β nature of marble swamps at the moment, but a alternative method might be copying Shadow-Mario's materials over to normal mario's model

Ah... The paint that was black can blend in and now I see the paint handle. (The background's black lines blend in with the paint's black shadow. XD)
Looks really painty. Maybe better than Color Splash to say the least.
