I was about to say "WHOA!" when I saw Leo behedding the foot. Then, I noticed the sparks coming from the bodies, and my reaction changed to "whoa!".

This looks like a strange reference to the old late 80's turtles, and the style is very nice. Little curious as to what the numbers mean, but I am sure Krang needs to keep an numerical check somehow.

Now, I've always viewed the TMNT in a sort of poor light. I never understood why they were so popular, they always looked so campy, cheesy, and goofy. But this is MY kind of TMNT right here. Gritty, dark, and moody! Great colors, lighting, and detail, by the way!!

Stunnig ation, the slicing of the ninja's robotic head, the other splashing through the water, the detail of the sewer head's grid, the lighting and excellent depiction of an alleyway at night plus the fact that I adore Leo, really made this picture. Now this is finally a piece of art that's just right.
Eastman and Laird's original tmnt is a hard boiled b&w graphic novel, think sin city.
It wasn't found and raised into responsible kids in the sewer.
It was found and molded into ruthless kill squad in order to take bloody revenge.
And no amount of cashing in and toy commercial cartoons can change that.
