My first Tutorial! I hope it came out well. Looking for feedback!This is about my scalloped bubble, my flower bubble and my most recent bubble, the swirl bubble

go to the folder that apo is run from, and add a folder called "plugins" for the normal apo, "plugins3D" for apophysis 3d, and add in plugins, a few at a time to make sure if they work. Load up apophysis.

oh 3D hack? so v2.08 would be much better for plugins. the only versions i have is v2.02, 3Dhack and 2.08. i figure that's all i need right there unless you're gonna tell me different. oh yeah, i just started toying around with chaosphere recently and have a few fractals from that program. they're ok, but i assume you can use plugins on that program too right? and all this freeware is safe right? i have too many folks asking me about viruses because they're worried but i have had no problems so far, have you or anyone else?

I haven't gotten a virus in the year I have been using apo, nor have I heard of any problems from anyone else. Seems safe to me. Chaoscope is another I have tried, and haven't had any problems with that either.

ok cool. i figured as much since this is a reputable site and EVERYBODy who has used the programs have had nothing but good news and excellent results. i wanted to know if there was any special tricks i need to know about chaosphere or any tutorials besides the site i downloaded the program off of.

I have a question. How do yuo get that julian type one in bubble type 2?

Alright, I hope I'm right in assuming that the fractal you're considering is this one: [link]
To get this effect, make a standard grand julian fractal. Add a small bubble transform of about .2 or so, which is what I used in my fractal. I used pre_blur = 1 and oscilloscope of .01, and if you want the bubble just like the one I have shown, add a spherical of .02 to the bubble transform as well. Hope that helps!

nice tutorial. the spiral bubble came out slightly flat for me, but i managed to fix that with zcone (sort of) anyway, put all my attempts at the different ones into one fractal, here: [link]
