Chapter 2: It's Him! He's Real!Cora Cluck ran through the grass, hoping
that she would see what looked like the
bunny that delivers chocolate eggs, himself.
But when she finally stopped at where she
thought he was hiding, all she saw was nothing.
Just plain grass accompanied by flowers
of pink, yellow, blue, and lavender. Cora frowned
unhappily. And feeling rather disappointed,
she walked away. "I guess he's just a part
of my imagination then..." Cora said, sadly.
She was just about to tell her friends about
how she didn't find the Yeaster Bunny, when
all of a sudden, something was heard rustling
in the grass. "Shake! Shake!"
This caused the little hen to sprint back to the
fields, what she saw made her eyes bulge out
in pure shock. Two bunny ears popped out of
from under the ground. And then what looked
like an almost, normal rabbit came out.
He was hiding in the grass, but he wasn't just
hiding in there, as Cora looked closely she could
see that he was hiding some colored eggs in
the fields. The eggs were bread-imprinted and
had patterns, and colors of different hues.
The three eggs that the
bunny was leaving behind,
were red, light blue, and light-purple. Just
like Cora, Sway, and Deucer's signature colors.
The rest of the eggs were in a basket, the rabbit
happened to be holding in one hand, and that's
when it hit Cora...That bunny over there is
none other than the Yeaster Bunny, himself!
"Oh my goodness!" Cora screamed, "It's him!"
The Yeaster Bunny looked shocked, and was
about to turn around to see who was watching
him, until Cora quickly ran away. So the bunny
wouldn't have to notice her. The Yeaster Bunny
finally looked around the fields, and there was
no one behind him. He shrugged it off.
"Eh! Guess it was nothing." He sighed in relief.
"Phew! For a second there, I thought I was being
watched!" He chuckled, before hopping off
with his egg-filled basket in hand.
Meanwhile Cora was running back towards her
two duck friends while happily declaring,
"Oh my goodness, you guys! Guess what?!?
It's him! He's real!"
"Who's real?!" asked Sway and Deucer, rather
puzzled.
"The Yeaster Bunny! I saw him!" explained
Cora. "I thought I would never see him, but
nope! He's present! And he left us eggs!"
"You mean chocolate eggs?" questioned
Deucer, his eyes sparkling in delight.
"You bet'cha!" replied Cora. "And it's in the fields!"
"Here, I'll show you!"
And so Cora jogged back to the meadows to
show her friends the wonderful sight.
"Come on! Follow me, it's over here!" She called
out to Sway and Deucer, who were trailing
behind her.
"Look! Look, look!" screamed Cora, as she
pointed to some colored candy eggs deep within
the grass.
Sway and Deucer couldn't believe their eyes,
it was just like Cora said! The Yeaster Bunny was
here!
"Yeah, boy! He left us chocolate eggs!"
Deucer shrieked happily.
"Aw, yeah! He sure did!" added Sway.
Deucer squeaked and giggled ecstatically,
as he unwrapped a bread-imprinted red
chocolate egg, before finally popping it into
his mouth. "Mmm! Chocolately and Yeastery!"
He said. "Oh my bap! That tasted delicious!"
"I know, right?" Cora giggled.
"And I do believe this one's for you, Sway
Sway!" Deucer said, handing over the light-blue
egg to Sway Sway.
"Aww, shucks my duck!" Sway said, bashfully.
But he took it anyway, even if he got a little
shy from being offered a Yeaster egg.
"Cool! I like how mine's light-blue!" Sway said,
"It's like the same color as my hat and shorts!"
"And mine's the same color as my shirt!"
Cora added, while looking at her egg.
"How awesome is that?!"
"Definitely awesome for sure, Sway!"
"It's nice that the Yeaster Bunny remembered
to give us chocolate eggs!" said Sway Sway.
"Cause it is Yeaster after all!"
"Yep yep! You bet!" replied Buhdeuce,
cheekily.
Chapter 3: Bunny-napped! (a.ka.
Oonski want chocolate eggs!)
While Sway Sway, Cora, and Buhdeuce marvelled
each other's candy eggs, The Yeaster Bunny
continued hopping off to deliver his goodies
to all the boys and girls in Pondgea and Duck
Town. Several residents received eggs from the
bunny, including folks like Bill Duckington,
Catlyn and so forth. But somewhere, just somewhere,
in a place that screams "ABSOLUTELY QUAZY!!!"
rests a certain aggressive, hulking, and completely
ridiculous viking beaver watching all of this
from a telescope. That Viking beaver was Oonski
the Great. "Hey! Who's that bunny over there!"
He asked. And he took another good look in the
peeper.
There, he saw what looked like a
little grey bunny about the same size
as Sway Sway, bouncing around while
delivering candy eggs to everyone.
"Happy Yeaster!" He said, merrily.
"Wait a minute!" Oonski shouted, "Is that
the Yeaster Bunny?!? He's present?!?!"
He stopped what he was doing to think
for a minute. "Hmmm! He must be the one
that hides chocolate eggs! And if he's around,
then that must mean is Yeaster Day!"
He took yet another look into the peeper,
"Look at him! There he is, hiding chocolate
eggs in Duck Town!"
"They look so yummy!" The beaver said before
he proclaimed loudly "OONSKI WANT CHOCOLATE
EGGS!!!"
"And I think I know how to get the eggs! I'll
kidnap the bunny! That way, Oonski will have
all the eggs to himself! Viking's Honor!!!"
But then he paused for a second, "But how
exactly is Oonski gonna do all of that!?"
He thought on the subject, then he finally
got an idea.
"Aha!" He declared. "I've got it: sack! I'll trap
him in a sack! Surely that ought to work!"
He chuckled evilly.
Later, The Yeaster Bunny was about to continue
his job all while singing "La la la la la la la la!".
But then he suddenly got tired from hopping
around Duck Town and Pondgea with basket
in hand, which was weird since he normally
is energetic when delivering candy eggs to
other folks. "Jumping jellybeans...Too tired to
hop!" He panted, "Must rest....now!!!"
He slowly put down his basket and decided
to rest in the meadows. "Eh, a quick nap shouldn't
hurt!"
But just as he was about to lay down in the grass,
a huge, brown, hairy leg tripped him from
behind.
"Wah!" The Yeaster Bunny screamed as he hit
the ground.
The Yeaster Bunny shook his head several
times, before noticing that a large, hulking,
surly, Viking beaver was staring down at him.
"Huh?! Eh, who the heck are you?!"
"Surprise!" Oonski said, before taking out
a bag sack and trapping the poor bunny in
there.
The Yeaster Bunny, thrashed and wriggled,
and grunted and screamed but Oonski paid
no attention to the rabbit's cries for help.
"Mmmf! Mmf! Help!" He screamed from inside
the sack.
"Too bad, Yeaster Bunny!" said Oonski,
menacingly. "Your chocolate eggs are all
mine, NOW!!!"
And he continued to walk away with the
tied-up Yeaster Bunny in the sack, not even
caring if the poor bunny was in mortal danger.
Back in Pondgea, Sway, Deucer, and Cora
were done with taking a gander at each other's
treats, and were seeing if anyone else had
received some candy eggs from the Yeaster Bunny.
"Look, there's a couple of eggs that make a
trail on the street!" Cora pointed out to said,
eggs that were forming a trail.
"Really?" Deucer asked, in pure delight.
"Well, in that case! We'd better chase after
it!" Sway Sway suggested.
So the three birds chased after the assortment
of colored eggs only to find out that it lead
to, surprisingly enough, nothing on the other side!
"Huh?!" Cora said, confused.
"What happened here?!?"
To Cora and her friends' shock, only one half
of Pondgea residents (including Duck Town)
got candy eggs, while only a few didn't.
"How is this happening on Yeaster! Didn't
the Yeaster Bunny leave us eggs?!? Why hasn't
all of Pondgea and Duck Town got any candy
eggs?"
Sway and Deucer looked and saw that Catlyn
and Bill Duckington were joyfully admiring
their eggs, while others appeared sad and
miserable due to not having any at all.
"I kinda see your point there!" said Sway Sway.
Suddenly, Deucer spotted something sticking
out in the meadows, it was such an unbearable
sight that it practically scared him into silence.
There was the Yeaster Bunny's basket of eggs,
lying all abandoned in the fields.
"OH MY BAP!!! LOOK AT THIS, YOU GUYS!!!"
He screamed, getting the attention of Cora
and Sway Sway.
Sway Sway gasped in horror.
"He...he left his basket behind?!?!"
"Oh no! This can only mean one thing!"
Cora stated, nervously. "He's been bunny-napped!!!"
"OH NOOOOOO!!! ANYTHING BUT THAT!!!"
Sway and Deucer shrieked.
"This is terrible, now some of the folks in
Pondgea will never get their candy eggs!"
Deucer cried. "And I'm talking about the
poor ducks that look all miserable!"
"True!" Sway Sway said, comforting his best bap.
"But since he left his basket behind...It's given
me a bread-riffic idea!"
He grabbed the now, kidnapped Yeaster Bunny's
basket and stood heroically with Deucer at his
side.
"We'll take the Yeaster Bunny's place, in order
to make all of Duck Town and Pondgea proud!"
"Really?" Cora said, excitedly.
"You will?"
"Yeah, we will! And we'll do it all by..."
The two mallards leapt into the air, performing
a level-up.
"L-L-L-L-Level Up!!! Yeaster Bunny Ducks!!!"
In a flash, faster than you can say "scrambled
eggs!" Sway Sway and Buhdeuce appeared,
now dressed in Yeaster Bunny outfits.
They were white in color, but the footpads and
tummies of the costumes were light-blue and
red to match the two ducks' signature colors
respectively. They were both holding baskets
of bread-imprinted chocolate eggs, Sway held
the Yeaster Bunny's while Deucer had his own
basket.
Cora Cluck could not believe her eyes.
"This is SO gonna work!" Sway told his little
chicken friend.
"Yep, yep!" Deucer added.
He came closer to Cora, puffing out his
cheeks slightly and showing off his two,
big, front teeth.
"Do I look like the Yeaster Bunny, or what?"
Deucer made a face that looked like he
was nibbling on something, but the way
he did it unintentionally disgusted Cora.
"Uhhh, yes!" Cora replied, cringing a little.
"You look almost like...the Yeaster Bunny!"
"Great! I love this already!" Deucer declared,
rather happily.
"I think this calls for a happy dance!" Sway
proclaimed, cheerfully.
"How about a happy hop?" asked Deucer.
"Sure, I don't see why not!"
"Then let's go do this THING RIGHT NOW!!!"
Deucer screamed.
"Aw, yeah! Let's all do the Happy Hop!"
And so the two mallards began hopping
a bout in their Yeaster Bunny outfits as they sang:
"Hop, hop, hop to the Happy Hop!
Hop, hop, hop to the Happy Hop!
We're having fun so don't you stop
And hop, hop, hop to the Happy Hop!"
"Wow! Catchy song!" Cora said.
"Thank you!" Sway and Deucer both replied.
"Look out, Duck Town! There are new
Yeaster Bunnies in here!"
"Yep! Yep! Exactly."
