Personality: She's quite shy and if not treated right aggressive. She sees new things as bad things but she also learns quickly. She's getting better with humans for every carrot she is given and sometimes even comes when her name is called out.

History: Before Aras and Cecilia moved to Troll Island a man brought out is herd of Icelandic horses to the island each summer. Beisla was born on the same summer as her owner died. The people who came to bring the horses back by the end of the summer had no idea how many horses there were on the island due to the former owner's bad habit of lightening his fireplace with whatever was at hand. It didn't get better when it was revealed that he for the past 20 years hadn't reported any of his horses death. Thus they could only make a qualified guess from what the neighbours told them and registered breedings. So although the island was searched they couldn't find any more horses than the group that met them on the beach.

It was not until 6 years later it was revealed that they had missed at least two horses. Beisla and her mother. When Aras and Cecilia moved to the island both they and the builders who built their new house saw a little grey horse. At first they believed she was a runaway that somehow managed to swim more than 50 meters through a strong current to the island.

After tracking her for two days Aras and Cecilia managed to catch her and it soon became obvious that she had never been tamed. Further investigation (and blood samples) revealed that she was quite healthy, had most likely been taken from her mother at too early age, was a purebred Icelandic horse and seemed to lack all social skills. The picture was slowly revealed of a little horse who had lived most of her life alone without any social contact with humans or other horses. Aras and Cecilia got to keep her since no one claimed to own her and together with the other horses on Troll Island they have slowly learned Beisla everything a horse needs to know in life.
