Lots excess non infrared lights, large heat signature, two (?) parachutes, general balance, etc.
Each paratrooper is the largest most obvious thing in the sky if not the surrounding province. Β WW2 radar would be powerful enough to ping point (cause they used sound pings for locating-bad joke) this thing and vietnam era heat signature based locators could spot this thing, and it'd be slow enough for manual anti-aircraft equipment. Β No the only backstabbing is gonna be from people running away.
Also you'll need three parachutes to stabilize properly with a lot of extra cord and space.

All of that would actually matter if this were anywhere except the Gundam Universe, where a mobile suit's reactor also moonlights as the most efficient multi-spectrum jamming system ever created.

Yeah always wondered about that. Β IRL sheath jamming requires pinging back radio signals that are exact duplicates of the thing they are hiding along with a precise delay and similar frequency as what was given.Β Gundam and scifantasy stuff likes to think you can actively jam signals constantly. Β My guess is they're just sending random signals and once again being the loudest and brightest thing in the sky.
This coupled with GN waves/particles being described like Gamma rays and large amounts of regular electromagnetic radiation rather than a magic energy they were going for...they'll just look like a nuke flying around and blowing up randomly with a heat signature larger than the sun.
