Trivia

~The Inevitably Disappointing Sequel was first published just under a year after Cartoon Multiverse. It was completed in four months.

~Despite having just over half the cast of it's predecessor, it is three times as long as Cartoon Multiverse.

~Disappointing Sequel takes place immediately after Cartoon Multiverse. A short Ao3 exclusive fic called "Corridors" bridges both seasons.

~The fic features cameos from every canon contestant.

~SteveAtwater states in his author's notes that is intent with Disappointing Sequel was to parody Total Drama Action and some of it's shortcomings. Making it the only fan season to acknowledge Action in any way.

~At the end Chris Mclean foreshadows a third season Cartoon Multiverse: Dimension Hopping. As of June 2021, the season has yet to premier, though another bridge fic, Interviews is nearing completion.
