No good 'merc unit this side of the Inner Sphere and Clans goes without its own method of transportation.

Not counting dropships, the Nordic Fox Mercenaries have two main warships that double as jumpships for operations:

A Mjolnir class battlecruiser and Carson class destroyer. Painted a blue color to minimize naked-eye detection in the event of enemy ship or sensor malfunction. Mix this paint scheme with an EW suite and you can make yourself hard to find in a pinch. Especially since space is indeed a vast, dark place.

These ships were seized during operations on an undisclosed mission, and accepted as payment in return for silence about their involvement. A good payout, indeed.
