Rick set up the camera as Hayley fidgeted in her seat, trying to get comfortable. Her hips felt like they were rubbing against the chair's arms, pinching her and making her butt go numb. And if she sat too far out, there was a weight on her back that took the air out of her.

"Are you alright?" Kirra asked with a sympathetic smile.

"I'm fine," Hayley said with a grunt, pulling her pant leg up to fight the wedgie she was getting as her cameraman signaled to her. "Okay, we're recording. Hello everyone."

"Hello," the three athletes and their coach said in unison.

"So, going to the Olympics at your ages must have been exciting. And Rae, congratulations on medaling," Hayley added, gesturing to Rae and smiling. Rae blushed and nodded back, giving her own quiet thank you. "What did it mean for you to get to that big stage so early in your athletic career?"

"Uh, it was cool," Harold said.

Hayley nodded, waiting for him to continue. "That's it?"

There was a pause as Harold sucked on his lips, thinking intently. "Yeah." Hayley sighed internally. Sometimes people just made for bad interview subjects. Then again, with a body like Harold's, he didn't need to be a silver-tongued devil for Hayley to take interest. But she had a strict code against wooing interview subjects...at least for a month afterwards. She'd talked to a few celebrities in Los Angeles before who got a very friendly follow-up phone call.

"It was exciting to compete and see all these other swimmers who were like heroes to me," Zoey said. "And I may not have gotten that far but I now have a goal in mind."

"And I got a bronze so in four years, I'll be even better and I can get the gold," Rae said with a chuckle. Zoey flashed her twin sister an irritated glance before looking back at the camera and putting on her humble smile.

"And while you were there, you didn't have any problems with the facilities or the conditions in the city?" Hayley asked, making some notes alongside them.

"Nope and we've got a clean bill of health on Zika," Kirra said quickly.

"That's good, though it isn't as though either of you are planning to get pregnant anytime soon," Hayley chuckled, looking at Zoey and Rae. Both girls laughed a bit and Hayley prepared to go onto her next question before she let out a little groan. Her laughs made her jacket dig into her stomach, squeezing against her already tight and sore middle. "Damn it..."

"Are you sure everything is alright?" Kirra asked again, leaning forward.

"Yeah, I think my clothes just shrank in the wash," Hayley sighed, putting one hand on the front of her belly. It was largely hidden from view but once she applied pressure and smoothed out her top, the outline of her belly became clearer. Zoey's eyes opened wide when she saw it and Rae stiffled her own laughter. Harold looked like he wouldn't even react if a fly landed on his cheek. "So, getting back to the-"

"Oof," Kirra said, putting one hand to her mouth and leaning back. Everyone turned to face her as she burped and shook her head. "Sorry, now I'm the one interrupting things. Please, contin-" Before she could finish her sentence, the athletic blond let out a soft moan and pulled down the collar of her shirt. Her face was getting bright red. "Oh my...I'm having a bit of a...hot flash or something."

As everyone watched her, Zoey and Rae began to look queasy and clutched their flat stomaches. "I don't feel so good," Rae whinnied.

"T-that's because you've been up all the time celebrating," Zoey said before doubling over. "A-although...I feel kinda funny too." Both twins ran to the bathroom while Kirra stepped out of her chair, fanning herself.

"I-I'm sorry, I have to go lie down," she said before hurrying away.

"I guess they aren't having practice today," Hayley murmured to herself.

"May I go?" Harold asked.

"Yes, you can go. I think we'll have to pick this up some other time," Hayley said as the tall swimmer got up and left. "Everyone is getting sick lately. What's the deal?"

"I dunno. None of my friends have been sick," Rick said, turning off the camera and packing his gear up. "Though it seems to be going around the office. You okay? You were kinda going in and out during the interview."

"I feel fine," Hayley said, getting up and tugging on her clothes to hide her growing bump. "Guess you can leave the equipment back at PGNT. I'll go follow up on some other stories." Rick nodded and began to walk away before Hayley remembered something and reached out to him. "Oh, you don't know who might have taken a camera and a memory card from the top office yesterday, do you? It was there one minute and gone the next."

"We collect all our gear from inventory so I don't know who would have taken it from your offices," Rick shrugged. "Sorry."

"Yeah," Hayley sighed, putting her things away and heading for her car. As she sat down, her belly filled her lap and she groaned, prodding it with one finger. "How am I this big?" She thought about her strange dietary habits lately and pouted, sticking her juicy lips out as she brushed her red hair away. "Maybe I should start seeing Jaimee after all..."

With time left in the day before she had to go back to the office, Hayley stopped by TriFitness and walked past a yoga class already in progress. Yasemin was in the front, twisting her body in unbelievable ways while the other women tried to follow suit. They were all trim, young Californians but Yasemin was easily the most attractive, with her wavy brown hair, sandy tan skin, wide, full lips, and a belly dancer's body toned by exercise and stretches. As she looked up from a super sharp downward dog, Hayley flashed her a wink. Even if she wasn't into women, it never hurt to plant a seed.

"Can I help you?" an annoyed voice said. Hayley turned to see Gigi, hands on her hips as she glowered at Hayley. She thought the Indian trainer was a top-level beauty too but her attitude was turning Hayley off.

"I'm looking for my friend, Jaimee," Hayley said with a faux-polite grin.

"Hmph, I guess you two have the same diet," Gigi said, looking down at her washboard abs touched Hayley's bulging stomach. "She's in the weight room, on your left." Gigi walked away, her skin starting to feel a bit clammy as a bout of nausea began to churn around inside her. Hayley followed her instructions into a large room filled with men and women lifting weights and admiring themselves in the mirror. At the end, Hayley found Jaimee, lifting two medium-sized weights next to a man in his 60s doing the same.

"Five more pumps, c'mon," Jaimee smiled, a few beads of sweat on her pale forehead. The man looked like he was in considerable shape given his age but Jaimee was still doing much better in the exercise. After five more slow curls, they dropped their weights and Jaimee gave him a stiff pat on the back. "That's it for today, dude. Good workout." She caught sight of Hayley behind him and smiled. "Go shower up."

Hayley walked up, arms crossed, as Jaimee grabbed a water bottle. "I've never seen you actually train someone," she said, looking at Jaimee's enormous biceps and following them to her chest and then midsection. Jaimee only had on an elastic tank top and shorts, exposing all of her belly. Hayley still looked big in her tightly packed clothing but with nothing to hide her size, Jaimee looked massive. If it weren't for Jaimee's corresponding growth in her chest, her stomach would stick out farther than her breasts.

"He's a stuntman in Hollywood," Jaimee said, following Hayley's eyes to her midsection. "You here to gloat about me getting fat?"

"It's happened to me too," Hayley said, undoing her jacket some to flash Jaimee with her belly. "I was hoping to get you to start working it off but seeing you..."

"It has to be bloating from when I was sick yesterday," Jaimee said, touching her hand to her alabaster stomach. "But if you really want a personal trainer, I can get you someone. There's Luke-"

"Oooh, Luke."

"He's married-"

"Pass."

"Or there's Margaret."

"Oooh, Margaret."

"She's 55-"

"Pass."

Jaimee groaned and gripped the bridge of her nose. "You know, it might be helpful if you had a trainer you didn't want to bang."

"There's no fun in that," Hayley whined. "Why would I try to impress them with my workouts?"

"You wanted me to be your personal trainer when you came in," Jaimee said, rolling her eyes.

Hayley blushed, not wanting the cat out of the bag. "W-well I know you. I thought you'd give me a discount."

Before Jaimee could respond to what felt like an insult, the proverbial Luke ran up to her. "Hey, you gotta come out here. Something's going on."

"Yasemin's class?" Jaimee asked.

"Yasemin's part of the problem," Luke said.

Jaimee huffed and looked back at Hayley. "We'll have to continue this some other time." She gave a light pat on Hayley's exposed stomach and chuckled. "Tell Sophie not to put so much sugar in your coffee."

Hayley flashed her roommate a mocking look and headed back to her car, watching the chaos in the gym unfold. Women were having severe mood swings, bursting into tears or yelling at one another. Some had burst through their athletic clothes and were struggling to hide their breasts and butts. A few laid down iwth hot flashes and Hayley saw one woman rush off to the bathroom, hand over her mouth.

"That's what happens when you don't wipe down your exercise mats," Hayley said to herself as she climbed into her car. Again, she struggled in her seat and pawed at her belly. "Ugh, it feels even bigger than it was before," she cursed, unbuttoning her blouse and letting her stomach out in the open. "Ah, that feels better," she sighed, placing one hand on her pudgy middle. At least it was firm and not developing folds and wrinkles.

Back at the office, after Hayley had put her outfit back together, she struggled to her desk where a panicked Derek was waiting for her. "Hayley, good, you're back."

"Something wrong?" Hayley asked, brushing her red hair back behind her ears.

"Some kind of bug hit the office. I don't know what's going on but, long story short, Kristie isn't going to be able to cover the game tomorrow night and we need a replacement," Derek said.

"You can't get any other sports guys? They know a lot more than me," Hayley said.

"We need someone...photogenic on camera," Derek said, looking embarrassed by his own words. "We got lucky with Kristie that we had someone who knew a lot who was also..."

"Photogenic," Hayley replied back, smirking at Derek.

"Exactly," he said. "So, up for it?"

Hayley sighed. "I suppose I should take it as a compliment." She plopped down in her seat and got out her phone to call Vivian. "V, you there?"

"Yeah," Vivian's tiny voice said.

"Great, how do you feel?"

"Better than yesterday," Vivian groaned. She was still at home. "Why?"

"I need your help researching some things for me," Hayley said, looking up the details for tomorrow's game. "You know tomorrow's football game?"

"Sure," Vivian said.

"I need you to tell me everything you can about it."

"Like...the teams or the expected outcome or the season or-"

"Everything," Hayley repeated.

Vivian sighed on the other end. "Okay."

"Great! Meet me at the café across the street in two hours," Hayley smiled, hanging up and leaning back in her chair with pride. Her belly weight shifted to her bladder and she snapped back forward, wincing and cradling her middle. "That'll take some getting used to."
