I saw them today againWandering hand in hand
It's been a long time since they had met
Yet, there they stood like once before
Again and again.
A young couple, teens in love
Embracing, and locking mouths
At the landing atop the stairs
She was held against the wall
By her loving boyish man.
Seeing them from time to time
It stirs emotions deep inside
And like before I pass them by
I can see them in my room.
Caressing hands and making love
In a space that once held a bed.
I wish that they would go away
Because after all, they're dead.
