Description
For an assignment last year I had to do a self portrait as a fictional character...I chose Princess Mononoke becuase she was between the wild natural world and the "civilized" human world which is a way I often feel. Some people like the figures and hate the background....some people like the background and hate the figures...I'm not sure how I feel but I like it enough to post it.

I like this stylistic take on the work...and the muted yellows work really nicely.

I definitely agree with "trancestor"! I just have the problem of not knowing how to word certain ideas/thoughts.
I think this painting is amazing. I love the background AND the figures.

A great movie and a fine composition. I love the subtle colors and the details of the composition. Your interpretation of the characters and the setting is excellent. Well designed.

I think it's very good, the contrast between the nature and the civilization is excelent, the way the sky is clouded in the city and clear in the nature , we can take many conclusions out of that, my conclusion is that it represents the state of mind, in one side in the nature with a clear mind in harmony with Gaia and connected with the cosmos, and on the other side a clouded mind, troubled with the worries of the civilized world, forgetting the spirituality and all that is important to find inner peace.
