Description

By the time I got to Molly, I had plenty of refernce enginers to copy from, taking James and the Twins, I set to work on the yellow tender engine. Her signature large wheels proved difficult as those particular pieces do not exist, so I had to make them out of existing pieces. The results are… as best as they can be. The wheel wells aren’t accurate, but its really the best I can do with the existing pieces.

Molly is another character I distinctly remember, but was also criminally under-utilized. Its like after Emily, they just couldn’t be bothered to give us another female tender engine who stuck around [I say that, but then they would years later stick us with the molded loaf of bread that is Rebecca] and the idea of her being a particularly strong but also shy engine intrigued me, kind of the nervous gentle giant the HiT years and CGI years kept trying to hammer Henry into [although not a hypocondriac]

I can’t help but wonder what kind of relationship she’d have with the Scottish Twins, both them and her being paricularly strong non-express tender engines. I’d imagine they’ come to see her as a sort of kind big sister they’d need to protect and look out for. Its an interesting dynamic, I think
