Here is Derpy Hooves commissioned by a member of my local Brony group. I decided to try painting this Derpy as a light grey-blue instead of just straight on grey and honestly, I can not see the real difference in custom mixing blue into the mix. Like sure, if you want to be needlessly pedantic, Derpy is a blue-grey, but her being grey is enough when describing her colours and there’s a very fine line between trying to make things a grey-blue without full on turning her blue.

But sculpting Derpy was pretty interesting since in my mind’s eye, she’s just a Rainbow Dash recolour, but looking up references, her hair is reaaaaaaaaally different shape wise to Dash’s, including her tail being pretty complicated. If this custom were mine I probably would have fudged it more but I honestly tried making her show accurate as possible.
