This is one of a few portrait I've been working in the last weeks. The weather has been art-friendly, except for the odd thunderstorms, so I'm making the most of the time I have to get a few more things finished this year. The portraits I've been working on are working towards updating my commission pricelist, but also the added benefit for extra practice in Photoshop and blowing the dust off my Photoshop skills. Working on these portraits, especially the headshots, I'm feeling really rusty in regards to the backgrounds. They've been fun, though!

I'm really happy with how this gal turned out, especially considering this is the second time I rendered her out. I wasn't 100% happy with the first version, so I went back and skewed with the lights some more and I'm really happy with the result. If you don't feel something in your bones or your gut, then go back and do it again until it 'clicks'.
