Well, after 9 years on here, and a couple of days after my 33rd birthday, I thought I'd share my ugliness with the world.Titled, I, or 1st or one, this image is titled thus as it is not just me, but, the first image made in my new home studio. Looking forward to creating magic!
I went crazy and bought a bunch of Profoto gear (as a consequence, I am now broke and will forever be selling body parts to pay for more purchases). Oh, Profoto, how I love thee, let me count the ways...
Anyway, my hair's quite long now and this is also taken to document its length. It'll be gone soon, I think...
Oh, also, I was wearing clothes; my shirt was just unbuttoned!
I've just moved house and all my gear is still in boxes; the batteries that fit my 5D Mark II and 5D Mark III were dead and the charger's in a myriad of boxes, so, I resorted to the original 5D. Manually set focus, metered the light and fired away.
So, if anyone's in the Canberra region -- models, make-up artists, hair designers, get in touch and let's make art.

You've got the "EYE" Got out of space and off the landscapes to humans. Your eye for capturing the beauty in everything you photograph amazes me. Your talent is a blessing, for us as well as yourself.
For my own slow progression in photography I still have to take many shots to get a really good one. Do you spend hours getting the right shot or does 1 just get it?
Hope you make a living off your photos for many years.

When I saw you say 'ugliness' I basically went SDFJNVSKJEGFBHEDB WAT Because my first thought seeing this was 'ooo who is the gorgeous human being in my deviations list~'

Haha, welcome to my world! 5D Mk III with grip, 24-70mm, 70-200, 50mm f/1.4, 580 EXT II x2, a couple of Giottos GTLC325, Manfroto heads and umbrellas all in the space of about 4-6 weeks and I am skint also!
Ah well, at least we'll have fun with it all.
