It's LONG!! fair warning. xD; Took me quite a few hours to complete. Another project I just got wound up in and had to complete. Now I can move on to other things easier. xD;
I hope it's helpful, never done a tutorial before... oO;

edit: xD;; I was informed the sizing was wrong before for the hand. I realized my mistake, the hand was held too high. It's fixed now... sorry about that!!!

Hm, double joined doesn't mean you have more bones, it just means that your joints can bend in the less normal ways, such as like someone who is a contortionist. They don't have an extra spine, their spine just bends a lot further than others, having been stretched more.
So no, you don't add extra bones at all.

I do believe -- I have just fallen in love.
I look at this tutorial once, and before-hand, couldn't draw hands to save my life.
And I now realize how very simple it really is, regardless of the multitudes of different positions. Geometry is fun. :] Thank you.

That's a pretty awesome tutorial! Thanks a lot for this! Hands are still one of the hardest things to draw while drawing characters for me. So I'm gonna go through this step by step.
