As late as it seems, this is the first time I've seen this and I must say, I love your design. I think this would make a fantastic design for either an AC game or possibly a fan movie set in Paris. Have you sent this in to Ubi as an idea?

Hi, I chose this year because it falls after the July Revolution of 1830, a time when an autocratic monarchy has been overthrown a s replaced by a constitutional one. It was the middle of political and social change and an artistic revolution, all themes common in the assassins creed universe. What particularly interested me was that this was the high point if the Apache gang movement when street violence was an epidemic, while all may have looked rosy, there was a secret class war being waged in the streets and alleyways, a perfect environment for an assassin.

He could totally pass for Van Helsing.
Omg, they totally need some type of Assassins Creed twist on vampires XD

I would have liked to see the rest of the body--you have such an interesting design on his upper body, why not let us see it on his legs and shoes? If you are going to use smoke, you ought to look at fog reference and maybe use the cloud brush only as a base and go from there. The face could have used some refinement. That said, I really like what you did with the outfit, especially his cuffs. If you had worked on it some more, perhaps gathered reference for the face and fog, I think this piece would have been so much better.
But, as long as you learned something from it, its still a worthy piece.

Thanks for the comment the truth is spent so long on the upper body that I couldn't face going into the same level of detail below, and I was really running close to a deadline. It's not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it

I really don't know what is wrong with Ubisoft. This entry should have made it all the way to the artbook. What a magnificent attention to detail and features. I really like the way you designed the costume it really identifies the character with the previous installments of the series and such detail in the wrinkles, shadowing, and weapons. Great work, Ubisoft needs to have their head examined for not including this in their artbook.

It's freaking awesome! Ubisoft don't recognize a good artist even if it's in front of them, you've got talent. I can imagine me playing with this guy, it would be amazing character. You should write a fanfic with this character.
I can only say that this is a breathtaking piece of art, congrats on making it.

They skipped france... They did the third crusade, then Italy, then Italy again, then Russia, then The Reve` war. Sorry france, better luck next time!
Still, this is a great assassin design! I'm taking this as both a fav, and an idea.
