Kawaii! XD You finished it gozaru! :3 And see? It still turned out nice. XD The background makes me trip balls, because I don't know if I'm laying on my back and seeing the sky or looking down and seeing the ocean beyond. x_X But from her pose I'm guessing looking up, which is AWESOME. ;D This is a really cute character design, I like the bows just below her ears. *nodnods* Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see your next finished piece. *nodnods*

I actually love the view on this pic. Really makes me want to see her up close.

Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes some pictures are just much better as line arts than colored pictures.
The lines can sketchiness can really bring out the dynamic atmosphere sometimes.

Yeah, I have to agree with freedom, the amount of pressure put onto the pencil/stylus and by thickening certain lines helps to make a picture more lively. It's really hard to explain exactly how to do it, but it comes with observation and practice. I myself have not mastered it. Anywho, I still love the picture ^^ its quite charming and cute

Generally. I've noticed that before I ink things, the different strengths of the pencil lines seem to give the pictures a more 'alive' feel. Or maybe that's just me.
On the other hand, this is actually adorable. :3 I was just in a bit of a slump mood-wise and then I saw this and perked right up.
