A Mollusk Digimon whose body grows out of its shell in order to move around easily. The pearl that rests on its tongue is actually a lure that Asarimon created by mixing mineral data with its saliva and its deepest desires. Anyone who looks directly at the "Crystal of Desire" will see the most attractive face that they can imagine, this being part of Asarimon's infallible strategy to attract its prey.
Asarimon steals treasures to adorn its body and be more attractive to greedy Digimon or those who are easily impressed by shiny things, this has turned Octmon into its main victim and biggest enemy.
When a Digimon gets close enough to its mouth, Asarimon uses its Special Move "Guillotine Shell", with which it decapitates its victim by closing its sharp shell around its neck. Also, with its "Pearly Shine", it generates a bright shine with the "Crystal of Desire" which makes all the Digimon around it fight over Asarimon. However, there have been reports of Digimon being immune to this technique, possibly due to lack of greed.
