Lazy black blackground is, indeed, lazy.This has been lying around in my files for at least a week now. o-o I had the lineart done a while ago, then colored it, but didn't finish. Just finished it up today.
Anyway! Felt like drawing Cinderpelt. C: She really deserved more attention in the series, especially after she died. I'm serious, Leafpool seemed like the only cat who was actually upset. And then when Ashfur died, everyone got all depressed and suddenly he was the greatest cat ever.

Reading book 5 in the first series is much? lol I'd say compared to the fact that there's a whole 2 series ahead, and each consisting of 6 books, plus the 4 super editions yet to be read, I'm waaaay behind any of you warrior fans XD It's really hard to find the books here in my area for some reason, there's always a volume missing; hence I already devoured two other (non-relevant) books when I was still scouting for Book 5.

Well, I read the first five books in about two or three months, but I had all day to read them throughout the summer. |D I'm a really slow reader, so I'm impressed that you've gotten through five books already.... 'cause when I met you, you hadn't read them, and they're so uncommon in your area. Aww dang, If I could, I'd send you book six. :C By the way, are they english copies there or another language?
Oh, and I consider myself a bit behind too, because I'm still not to the latest book yet. X3 I'm on the second book of the fourth series, which came out last year.
Hmmm.. the whole series and the super editions... Oh yeah, don't forget all the comic/manga stuff!

Ah, no worries, I managed to get Book 5 and 6. Asked some friends and my aunts to help me hunt it down when they were in another state. They're sitting on my table now, but I have yet to get into the mood to read them again. The 2 other books that I was previously reading had so much of a mature content [disturbing materials/violence/gore/bloodshed] that I have to take a break if I want to get into the mood for something lighthearted and easy-going XD But no worries, I'll get down to it very soon. It's hard keeping myself away from books anyway XD
And yes, they are in English. I prefer an English read anyday lol Though I think I've seen them in Chinese before when I was back in Taiwan.
Are the comic/mangas good? I saw them (it was about Ravenpaw I think) but did not buy them.

Ah. XD Well, that's good, at least. It's kind of less lighthearted in the sixth book if that changes anything, by the way. x3 I don't mean to give away any spoilers, but as you might tell from the title, cats are pretty much dying all over the place. |D Or at least it's tragic and kind of gory.
And really? That's what I assumed. xD I like a lot of the Chinese covers, 'The Darkest Hour' one probably being my favorite.
Hmm.. Some are okayish, some are really good. I didn't really like The Forgotten Warrior, but Ravenpaw's Path is pretty good. There's another, but it involves SkyClan, which is the fifth clan, and only the first one is out. I haven't read it yet, soooo. xDD
But the one that you'd really, really want to read is The Rise of Scourge, because it actually looks manga-y. And I think the style is really awesome, too. But you should probably read it after you read The Darkest Hour.

Actually, you should read ALL of those after the sixth book, except for the first book of Ravenpaw's Path. |D; Or else there'd be a bit of a spoiler here and there.

Yeah, I do plan to only get the mangas after I'm done with at least the first series. Though I'm considering whether or not I'd want to read the 2nd series and 3rd and 4th, seeing how I'm growing quite fond of Fireheart, and not being able to follow the story directly from his POV is a sad thing for me.

I have a feeling I'd pretty much like Scourge; hints dropped here and there by others seem to indicate that he's the type of character I'd like lol Can't wait to get to book 6.
