Dislikes: Darkness, grumpy people, happy people, quiet people, or just people in general. Getting dirty, leaving allies behind, people screaming, oil, stains, Metal Sonic's inability to clean up the floor when he comes in tracking mud.
Duty/occupation: Works for Eggman to control the world.
Family: Mephiles the Dark/Solaris (creator)
Abilities: Time Travel, portal creation (can go almost anywhere), energy projection, flight, strength, dimension destruction (extremely hard to perform), turning people into white statues (also very tasking), fireballs...? (most of these skills leave him rather weak and in need of time to recharge)

When the Solaris Paradox happened (when Elise blew out the flame to reset the last 10 years), Solaris did a little 'cough' as time went backwards. Because Elise blew the flame out, it didn't entirely destroy Solaris, it simply chipped it's power off, making it useless to the people of Soleana (Solaris is still alive, that's why they still do the festival and such. It's just useless now). The little fragments were stuck inside the paradox loop, festering and such. While his energy grew, it got the chance to break free when Eggman's Stellar Amusement Park (from colors) exploded, resulting in a huge surge of negative energy. The beast broke out and found Eggman, who was at first abducted by it. Later, he found a way to control it and then trap it.
After Sonic and Shadow destroyed the Time Eater (as it goes in my canon, for I want to avoid time-travel mess-ups) Eggman took the last of its pieces and built Portal (Egg-Portal, as a beta name, lol). Portal, as a Metal Sonic design, was constructed to be the best bot Eggman has ever made (so he hoped). His build was extremely complex due to the consciousness of the core connecting to the programming. Most of the time he switches between "human-like" and "Soulless robot".

Likes to stay clean. He's always polishing himself on break. Loves to fight. Mocks everyone he's against like he's the greatest thing on earth. Cherishes his close friends. He shows his feelings for people by his actions (such as breaking their shoulder to say "you're my best friend"). Very awkward around females. Dislikes being around drunk people. Won't go down alleys if they're dark. Most people believe he's actually scared of the dark.
