I just finished replaying one of my favorite games that affected my taste a lot — Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver
I love it's gloom gothic atmosphere, this wasteland conquered by vampires kind who made humans hole up in a lonely Citadel, impenetrable for vampires... But not for a Soul Reaver.
One thing that made this game even more special for me at the time is Raziel's relationship with humans: if he doesn't kill any of them, they... worship him instead of running away or attacking him. I guess this kind of thing is pretty common now, but 20 years ago it was really cool touch.
Another cool touch is that Raziel can feed on human souls without killing them — if Reaver stops before consuming the entire soul, his victim will just feel dizzy for some time. I wonder what happens to the rest of their soul and their personality though...
And yeah, I find the way Raziel holds his victims quite sensual in a way, so that's why I picked this theme for a fanart. I hope you like it (:
