Over at the beach house things were moving along from foreplay to sex, Tristan having felt that time at the hotel they’d kind of skipped a few fun steps when they jumped right into sex. So he’d set out to make sure the first time back in her bed there was a lot more time and attention paid for the fun of foreplay. “Mmmm..alright…please Tristan enough foreplay…”, Blaire moaned which got Tristan to stop what he was doing and look up from between her legs under the sheet. “You sure? Cause I’m having fun making you squirm and moan from down here.”, Tristan teased kissing and gently nibbling at the inside of her thigh. Blaire reached down and playfully tugged at his hair. “Yes I’m sure…”, Blaire said reaching for her nightstand getting out a condom from a box she’d talked Ashley into buying her, knowing Tristan was coming to town. Tristan smiled and kissed his way back up her body from under the sheet before taking the condom from her. “I’ll take that then.”, Tristan smirked opening the packaging and getting the condom on setting the wrapper aside. Blaire smiled pulling him closer kissing at his neck and shoulders as she was given what she wanted him. “Oh god Tristan….”, she moaned into his ear as they found their rhythm.

Neither of them were thinking of time, which really for them they figured they didn’t need to worry about the clock. Blaire had set her alarm to go off at 2:30 so that it would give time for them to finish anything they were doing and Tristan would be able to head back to the hotel before her parents got home. She wanted him to meet them in at least a capacity of a boy she cared about but wasn’t dating, however getting caught sleeping together was not how she wanted them to meet. If she could help it she’d rather her parents not know they were intimate. It was just after midnight when Colby realized he’d packed that dinner but never grabbed it from the counter in the kitchen before he left for work. "Holly I'm heading to my house, forgot my dinner. So you're in charge  till I get back. Don't give the boys too much trouble.", Colby said heading out of the station. "Sure Colby.", Holly, the only female office, said with a sinister grin playfully laughing maniacally. If she wasn't in uniform and wasn't known in the station as the hard ass with the killer right hook and aim she would be called attractive. But the uniform mostly did it's job of having her look more like the male officers and she kept her light brown hair pulled tight into a bun. Colby rolled his eyes and smiled. Holly and her departed husband Nigel Boland had been friends with him and his brothers since the police academy. Colby thought it odd to see a pickup truck with Oregon plates parked near his place. But he didn't let the concern of the unknown vehicle concern him. He walked into the house not finding it being unlocked weird, just meant Blaire was home.

As he turned on the light to head to the kitchen he noticed there was no light from Blaire's room. He shrugged figuring that she must be sleeping. As he grabbed his dinner he stopped hearing squeaking from the hall then dropped the dinner hearing Blaire yelling. He grabbed his Remington from the cabinet and started loading heading for Blaire's bedroom and kicked the door in completely unprepared for what he was walking into. No father is ever prepared to walk into their sixteen year old daughter's bedroom to see her under some boy having sex. Colby realizing the yelling he has heard had not been on duress. "BLAIRE LONDON!!!", Colby bellowed. Blaire shrieked when the door was kicked in. Tristan equally terrified by the door bursting open was quick to scramble off Blaire and to the floor. Blaire quickly pulled the sheet up to cover herself sitting up. “DADDY!”, Blaire yelled eyes wide. Colby pointed the barrel of his Remington directly at Tristan.”YOU HAVE TILL THE COUNT OF THREE TO GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!”, Colby bellowed his steel blue eyes narrowing on Tristan. Tristan gulped feeling all color leave his face as he was staring at the wrong end of a shotgun. He’d never met Colby only been told about him and one thing he readily remembered the man didn’t miss. Tristan started to grab his clothes. “ONE!” Colby bellowed sternly. Tristan was still scrambling to find all his clothes. “TWO!”, Colby said his finger eager to pull the trigger. Tristan realized he didn’t exactly have time to get all his clothes and instead scrambled for the window dropping clothes as he opened it and started to climb out, thankful that Blaire’s house was one story. “THREE!”, Colby yelled as he took his shot. Colby may have been angry but he wasn’t going to kill a kid so the shot hit the window casing missing Tristan.

The shot may not have hit him but it was too close for Tristan’s taste as he scrambled to the ground and a little disoriented started down the beach and to the only place he could think of, the cave from last summer. Tristan wished he’d managed to grab at least some of his clothes as the spring breeze coming off the ocean was not doing his naked body any favors as he huddled in the dark cave. Colby moved out of the room started to reload his gun heading for the back door. “I’m gonna kill that boy!”, Colby shouted. “Daddy! NO!”, Blaire yelled getting out of bed grabbing what she could easily find, which was Tristan’s over shirt that she slipped on starting to button and otherwise hold closed as she chased after her dad. Having heard the shot from their house Azriel and Sadria rushed from their house telling Darren to stay in the house till they gave him the all clear. Azriel ran into his brother's house his wife right behind him to see Colby heading for the back deck and Blaire running after him wearing a boy’s button up. It wasn’t hard to guess what the hell was going on. “Colby!? STOP!”, Azriel yelled running and tackling his brother on the deck. Sadria looked over her shoulder to the parking lot and saw the same truck from last summer and knew this was about Tristan. “Don’t get involved Azriel. That boy is dead.”, Colby said trying to struggle free. Azriel managed to pull the Remington from his brother and kick it away before putting his brother into a headlock. “No killing Tristan.”, Azriel said wrestling his brother away from the deck. “YOU KNOW HIS NAME!”, Colby shouted.

“Listen to Uncle Azriel dad. You can’t kill Tristan.”, Blaire pleaded. “And sure not when in uniform and on duty bro. And of course I know who the kid is. If you paid half attention to my niece’s social life you’d know who he is too.”, Azriel said letting his brother go and shoving him into a chair in the living room. “Now sit and stay!”, Azriel ordered. Colby glared at his brother and looked to his daughter a mixture of anger and disappointment. Sadria sighed and hugged Blaire around her shoulders. “Sweetie why don’t you get dressed. Where did da lad run off to?”, Sadria asked. Blaire looked down at the ground not wanting to meet the look her father was giving her. She nodded at her Aunt’s suggestion. “He went out my window, dad didn’t even give him time to get dressed for he shot at him. He probably went down the beach to the cave.”, Blaire answered. Sadria nodded. “Alright Blaire. Do you know how to reach his father?”, Sadria asked. Blaire shook her head. “I know they are staying in room 28 at the Tides Motor Inn.”, Blaire answered. “Thank ya. Now go get dressed your Uncle and I will see to your father and Tristan. Make sure you find all of Tristan’s clothes he’ll need them.”, Sadria said. Blaire nodded heading down the hall to her bedroom to get dressed and gather up Tristan’s clothes. “How the hell do you two know who this boy is? Did you know he was sleeping with Blaire? And like hell he is coming back into my house.”, Colby protested. Sadria sighed. “Azriel luv get a blanket and go find da lad. Ah’ll deal wid yer brother and getting Alex.”, Sadria suggested not answering her brother-in-law. Azriel nodded. “Stay put Colby you don’t want to piss off my wife.”, Azriel said grabbing a blanket from the couch and heading out the door to the beach to find Tristan.

“Someone want to answer my questions?”, Colby demanded. Sadria sighed and looked at Colby rolling her jade eyes. “Colby remember two years ago Blaire became very interested in da rodeo and was wearing a cowboy hat for a week? Tristan is why. He’s Tristan Whitland, his dah is Alex Whitland who runs a rodeo. Ya should recognize his dah’s name. He’s Aurelia’s old high school friend from Oregon. If ya paid attention ya’d know dat Blaire has been talking to dat boy ever since. And no we dinna know dey were sleeping together. Just kne dat she really likes him and vice versa. Now let’s focus we need to get da lad’s father here.”, Sadria said being calm and rational. Colby grumbled angrily getting out his phone calling the station. “Holly?”, Colby greeted. “Yeah Colby? What’s up?”, Holly questioned. “Need you to go to Tides Motor Inn room 28 and pick up a Alexander Whitland and bring him to the beach house.”, Colby instructed. Holly raised and eyebrow. “Why?”, Holly questioned. “Because I just shot at his son for sleeping with my daughter and the boy is somewhere on the beach nude and Azriel is looking for him. Need Alex to collect the boy before I kill him.”, Colby explained. “Caught him doing what with Blaire? Oh lord my poor Samuel when he finds out. But alright I’ll go get the father of the deviant and be there soon.”, Holly said hanging up. “Officer Jones you’re in charge. I need to pick up a parent to collect an indecent exposure juvenile.”, Holly instructed grabbing her hat putting it on as she headed for her police cruiser. “Alright so Holly will pick up Alex and bring him to collect the boy, if I haven’t killed him first.”, Colby grumbled.

Sadria sighed shaking her head at her brother-in-law. Blaire walked out carrying Tristan’s neatly folded clothes having gotten dressed in a pair of jeans and tee, wearing the necklace Tristan had given her earlier. “No killing Tristan dad.”, Blaire said sternly setting the folded clothes and boots down on the coffee table. “Like hell I won’t! That boy is going to get what’s coming to him!”, Colby shouted. Sadria raised a hand to Colby. “Dat nuff outta you! You stay silent Colby or so help me Ah’ll use ya powers ta keep ya silent.”, Sadria warned. “And Blaire ya take a seat and we wait for Alex to arrive and for Azriel to bring Tristan. Den we talk bout dis like calm and rational adults.”, Sadria stated sitting on the couch. Colby narrowed his eyes still unhappy with this situation. Up the beach Tristan was shivering in the cave. "Okay that was the scariest thing I have ever faced. Can't believe that I left Blaire there to deal with her dad alone.", Tristan said running a hand over his face feeling like a complete ass. "I should have stayed and just tried to stand up to her dad, but then again gun was pointed at me.", Tristan rationalized his teeth chattering. "Do not blame you kid. My brother points a gun you get out of the way.", Azriel commented pointing a flashlight at Tristan. Tristan looked up from where he was huddled in the cave half scared hearing a voice. "Great Mister Delaney sent you to come kill me?", Tristan asked. Azriel shook his head and threw the blanket at Tristan. "No. Sent by my wife to collect you. She's getting in touch with your dad to come get you. So cover up and let's head back.", Azriel suggested. Tristan sighed a little relieved that Azriel wasn’t there to hurt him and quickly wrapped the blanket around him to get warm again. “Thanks sir. Wait did you say my dad? And you want me to go back to that house? Mister Delaney will kill me. Last I saw he had a shotgun pointed at me.”, Tristan said now getting a bit scared of what he was being led into.

Azriel sighed. “Look kid I get the whole being scared of what your dad is going to think of you getting in trouble with my brother. And I can understand being scared of a girl’s dad when he’s got a gun. But you care about my niece right? Plus your clothes and truck are back there.”, Azriel questioned. “Yes, of course I care about Blaire. So guess I’m facing the firing squad. Was a nice life while it lasted.”, Tristan said standing up. “Don’t worry my brother isn’t going to kill you. He’s currently unarmed. Plus my wife won’t let anyone hurt you. Kind of goes against her whole X-Men code to protect the innocent.”, Azriel said nodding for Tristan to follow him. Tristan nodded a bit relieved to know that Blaire’s Aunt Sadria was there and at least wouldn’t let him come to harm. That however didn’t do him any good for when he had to leave the house with his dad. He wasn’t really sure what his dad was going to do. Technically he hadn’t done anything illegal or to get arrested for, but Mister Delaney was still a police officer so it’s like getting in trouble with the law. Tristan walked silently behind Azriel wondering how his dad was even going to get there as he had the truck. Over at the motel Alex was stretched out on his bed watching television, well he’d been watching television but had dozed off. Holly grumbled the whole drive to the motel about having to go collect the dad to the kid who was sleeping with the same girl her son was in love with. That was a little twisted of Colby to request of her. He was going to owe her big for having to deal with this crap. She got out of the cruiser and put her cap back on before knocking on the door of room 28 loudly.

Alex fell off the bed startled awake and groaned getting to his feet. He assumed it was his son having forgotten his key. “Coming!”, Alex shouted as he went to the door and opened it. He blinked in surprise to see a woman in a police uniform standing at his door. “Are you Alexander Whitland?”, Holly asked her light brown eyes surveying Alex mentally making an assessment of the man. She did give credit he didn’t look bad, even a tad rugged but mostly he looked tired and he smelled like horses. Alex raised an eyebrow looking at Holly a half sleepy smile on his face. “Yes I’m Alexander Whitland. How might I be able to help you...officer?”, Alex questioned. Holly looked at him sternly. “Officer Boland. And you can help by getting shoes on and getting into the police cruiser and coming with me.”, Holly stated pointing to her cruiser in the parking lot. Alex blinked realizing that this was a real police officer and not some gag from his son or crew. “Um alright Officer Boland.”, Alex said grabbing his boots from by the door starting to put them on. “Can I ask what this is in regards to?”, Alex asked mentally hoping that this wasn’t about Tristan. One of the few things he ever asked of his son was to not get in trouble with the law. “It’s about your son. I’ve been instructed by Captain Delaney to retrieve you to collect the juvenile from the beach where he is currently being pursued by the other Captain Delaney for indecent exposure after of course being caught in bed with Captain Delaney’s daughter.”, Holly explained turning and walking to her cruiser getting in. The name Delaney meant something to Alex, and then it clicked Colby and Azriel the pair of brothers that Aurelia knew. His face went a little pale as he realized who he heard having sex with his son earlier that day...Blaire Delaney. Alex groaned and ran his hand over his face remember how those two were a couple years ago during the last rodeo. Alex shut the hotel door and got into the cruiser.

Holly drove in silence to the beach house pulling in between Colby’s cruiser and Alex’s truck. “Good luck to you Mister Whitland.”, Holly commented. “Thanks Officer Boland.”, Alex said walking up to the door and knocking. Sadria opened the door and Alex blinked a little confused not recognizing the red head. “Ya must be Alex. Come on in den. Mah husband Azriel went to collect Tristan.”, Sadria said ushering Alex into the house. Alex nodded and stepped inside. “Thanks. I gotta say not really what I had planned for the night.”, Alex admitted walking in. “Oh you too? Here I thought I was the only one that didn’t plan to discover your son having sex with my little girl.”, Colby grumbled. “Colby...silence.”, Sadria said ushering Alex to the living room. Alex looked around the room and saw Colby in one chair and directly across the coffee table Blaire in the other. The pair looking very similar except the color of their eyes and both glaring at the other. As Alex was about to say something Azriel slid open the back door and Tristan stepped in behind him with the blanket wrapped around him. “Oh look the gangs all here. What fun.”, Azriel said with a smile. Tristan gulped looking at the angry expression on Colby’s face and then looked to his dad who didn’t look all that pleased but then he looked at Blaire. her head and turned when she heard the door open and she wasn’t looking angry when she saw Tristan she looked a mixed of relieved and worried.

She picked up the clothes she’d folded from the coffee table and stood up walking over to him handing him the pile. “Figure you might want these.”, Blaire said. Tristan nodded taking the pile with one hand using the other to keep the blanket up. “Are you okay?”, Blaire asked quietly. Tristan nodded. “I’ll be fine. You okay?”, Tristan responded his voice soft. He had generally been concerned about her, even if he didn’t think her dad was capable of violence against her. Blaire nodded. “Why don’t ya go get dressed now lad.”, Sadria suggested. Tristan nodded. “Yes. Thanks Misses Delaney.”, Tristan said heading to change in Blaire's bedroom. “That boy is lucky I don’t just snap his neck.”, Colby grumbled. Blaire’s shoulders sank for a moment before she turned to look at her father having had enough. “That’s it dad. I’ve heard more than enough from you. You can stop with the threats, because you aren’t going to touch Tristan. What happens between us isn’t your business dad.”, Blaire stated. “Not my business? You’re my daughter, this is my house. And you think you having sex with some boy you hardly know it’s my business?”, Colby asked standing up. Alex wasn’t sure if he wanted to get into that fight. “I don’t hardly know Tristan. I know him. We have been talking for two years now dad. So I know him. And it isn’t your business who I sleep with. I’m sixteen years old dad. New York State law is clear on the subject. No parent or legal guardian is able to make any case against an individual claiming statutory when both participants are over the age of sixteen and both parties state that the sexual act was consensual. And trust me it was consensual. So case closed!”, Blaire said placing her hands on her hips glaring up at her father.

Tristan was walking out of the hallway putting the necklace Blaire had given him back over his head in time to hear Blaire’s fight with her dad. He tried to not smile at how she defended their actions and to not think about the fact she was going to be one hot lawyer when she got out of college. Colby threw his hands up in the air in frustration. “I’m still your father! It’s my job to keep you from making stupid mistakes or from being taken advantage of. No offense to Alex but I do recall hearing the name Tristan thrown around by your cousins and some of the other kids all in comparison to Azriel at that age. And I won’t stand by and let that happen.”, Colby said. Azriel scoffed a little being brought into this. Tristan started to step forward narrowing his eyes, Colby didn’t have the gun now and he wasn’t about to do nothing while Colby tried to accuse him of taking advantage of Blaire. “Tristan has never taken advantage of me dad! How dare you say such an allegation. You have formed your opinions based on hearsay. Hearsay is meaningless and you should know better than to take gossip as facts.”, Blaire countered back angrily. “I thought I raised you better than this Blaire. Being with a boy who only comes through town every now and then? And you’re only sixteen you have such a bright future ahead of you and you risk it for him. You could date any of the local boys, what about Sam?”, Colby argued back. “You raised me to think for myself. To think things through.”, Blaire said and groaned as Sam was brought up. “I don’t want Sammy like that dad. I want Tristan and sure I can’t exactly have him all the time because we live so far apart, but when he’s in town he’s who I want to and will spend my time with. And being with Tristan while he’s in town has zero negative impact on my future.”, Blaire protested.

Azriel could see the vein in Colby’s forehead starting throb. “Sir, I really care about Blaire. I figure you won’t believe that, but I do. I would never take advantage of her or do anything she didn’t want to do. We agreed it wasn’t really fair to either of us to try and have a long distance relationship where I’d be on the road all the time for my job and rarely get to see her. So this works for us, we both agreed to the rules we set. I don’t want to do anything that will have a negative impact on her future. Because I know what she wants out of her life, as she said we’ve been talking for two years we know each other. I know she wants to be a lawyer and I know she’ll be one hell of one.”, Tristan defended. “And you like to throw around the whole being compared to your brother thing. What I know about your brother sure we might have some things in common but I’m me not him. Blaire is the only person I’ve been with and right now the only one I want to be with.”, Tristan added. Colby turned his gaze to Tristan narrowing his eyes. Azriel decided to step in and placed a hand on Colby’s shoulder. “Admiral's daughter.”, Azriel whispered to his brother. Colby grumbled at Azriel. “Look come on Colby. Blaire is a smart girl and wouldn’t do something she didn’t think through. She’s like you at this age. She plans every move.”, Azriel said. “Exactly dad. All premeditation excluding you of course coming home early, was on me. I care about Tristan and I thought it through before I decided one him being the one I wanted as my first. I didn’t just randomly spur of the moment decide it. And there’s no changing my mind.”, Blaire said.

“Maybe so. I might not be able to change your mind, might not be able to take any legal action against him. However I’m still your father, so guess what Blaire. You are grounded for a month. No phone, no internet, no going out. You go to school and to work and you come straight home. No more getting rides from friends. You will be driven to school and work by me, your mother, your Aunt, your Uncle and if needed Misses Boland.”, Colby said. “And in the morning you get to explain to your mother when she gets home from her mission what has happened.”, Colby added. Blaire sighed and nodded, she’d rather be grounded for a month than her dad to try and do anything further to try and keep her from Tristan. It sucked that this meant she’d not get to spend time with him while he is in town for the rodeo. She fiddled with her star necklace a little. “Alright dad.”, Blaire agreed. Alex firmly gripped Tristan by the nap of the neck. “And since you're eighteen I don’t exactly get to ground you. However as your boss I do get to give you the worst and dirtiest jobs the rodeo can offer this summer. Now move it.”, Alex said sternly. Tristan nodded and looked to Blaire. “Guess I’ll talk to you in a month babe.”, Tristan said. “Night.”, he added walking with his dad. Blaire pouted a little giving a small sad wave. “Bye Tristan.”, Blaire said watching Tristan walk out with his dad. Blaire looked to her dad and said nothing before walking away and shutting her bedroom door curling up on her bed holding her pillow tight.

Colby sighed shaking his head. “You two knew about them and never told me? How long?”, Colby asked. “Not our job to tell you that your daughter has feelings for a boy. You’re the police captain, isn’t it your job to notice things and be aware of what’s going on around you. Tristan is a nice boy Colby. I’ve seen in his head just as I can see into Blaire’s. They do care about each other. And in the end that’s what matters. Good night Colby.”, Sadria said taking her husband’s hand and heading back to their house. Colby sighed and got his dinner off the counter once again and left in his police cruiser to finish his shift. Tristan was given the silent treatment on the ride back to the hotel. After they got into the room however that changed. “Blaire is the one from last summer isn’t she? Do you have any idea how much trouble you could have gotten in if her dad knew that tonight wasn’t the first time? That you were with her when she was fifteen? Over the years I’ve asked very little of you. But the one thing above all I’ve always asked it to not get in trouble with the law. And yet you start having a sexual relationship with a girl when she’s fifteen?! And a cop’s daughter to boot?!”, Alex said starting to raise his voice in frustration.  Tristan looked down at his feet as his dad talked. He didn’t have any line of defense to it. “Yes. Last summer it was Blaire I stayed with. And I know it would have been much worse if we’d been found out last year. I don’t have an excuse and I won’t bother trying to make one up. I have feelings for Blaire and those feelings are returned in equal measure. I won’t say I’m sorry for being with her, because I don’t regret any of it. I’ll take having to muck out the rings and whatever else you have me do as my punishment for this. But I won’t regret it because being with Blaire isn’t a mistake. Good night dad.”, Tristan said slipping off his boots and crawling into his bed. Alex sighed and shook his head hitting the light and getting into his bed.
