Well then it looks like I may have created another character! Probably should say that his name is Stardust but I don't know... This is probably not gonna be a character I'll be using as one of my 7 OCs so maybe I give it to someone or put him up for an adopt or something. Though the intention of this piece was to develop my shading techniques as I was very unhappy with how my pieces were turning out, I got the lighting right, but shading wise it just didn't seem right. So I put a little more work into this piece, but not too much since it's basically just a headshot, so this was good practice. Honestly after this piece I managed to actually develop a start to my shading style! What I did this time was that I created one layer of shading and edited to where the shadows are supposed to be, then I blended areas that I thought needed to be blended. Once I finished that I created another layer and cell shaded areas I wanted to b defined. That ended up being areas where it was blended but the two worked together to create what I have now! Using two layers of shading makes it look so much better in my opinion but it's up to you guys to tell me so right?
