Description
hello everybody orangeengine69 here it's been a while since you've seen my Tomy models well after my computer unexpectedly dying I have a lot of free time since school is closed after my test I'm going to be in 3rd grade this year.so as you've might have noticed from the image and the title "troublesome engine" I am making Gordon James and Henry.
we'll start from the left. Henry as he's gotten a lot of modified just today specifically on his tender I've originally wanted to extend it to make it look like a Stanier tender but it was too complicated so I cut the top back section moved it forward then built the lower part from Murdoch tender and thankfully i just have the back of Henry's coal to make it fit perfectly no gap that was a huge coincidence it was soo satisfying. okay now the with the locomotive parts I've cut the back of his cab, painted his running board, chassis, cab interior, and wheels black also painted the wheel rims white, now tender still needed some work I'm planning to use a two part epoxy made by alteco cover the gaps and sanded smooth and painted it in #114 "permanent light green" made by ST® and also repainted his face.
James I've modified James drastically two years ago to include his front boogie with the wheels from a 2014 take n play den, I've cut a piece from Murdoch tender to fix the chipped on James's tender which he has for the better part of 6 year.
Gordon now Gordon is by far need the most amount of effort from all three the reasons I painted him in war time is because I don't have a blue acrylic or spray paint and I love the look of Gordon with smoke deflector and also him in NE wartime black.
like the fat controller himself said: I've never like these big engines always causing me trouble. big engines that always cause me trouble. big engines that always cause me trouble. big engines that always cause me trouble…
