This one is easily my longest work to date.I always want to make some complete and cool charas as heise or some other people on deviant can do !!
But i suck so much at doing clothes^^
This time i had to do the background with photomanip (from and other random things), the sword (hum hum...), and the clothe (after manipulating the naked body under it) (don't ask me for the naked version
). Plus the head of course, the hairs (not so great).... Also used brushes from
of course, there is too much white on the picture lol... i have a kind of addiction for light^^
ps : forgot, i used some images from Image-After for the flame effect on the sword !
Update : Sorry, i can't decide on the color... Tell me if you prefer like that ! (more red ans saturated !)

While you did wonderfully with everything concerning skin, face, and hair.
You should have added some folds to those clothes. Remember that when clothes are tight there's quite a lot of folds!
Otherwise, I think it's one of your most impressive works.
And I'm happy to see you're not going to be photomanipulating faces forever ;}

I think the arms right, it's an awkward-to-draw, twisted and fore-shortened perspective, poses like that always appear off but that's natural, though saying that maybe the joint is a bit wrong,

Fore-shortening? There's no need to fore-shorten there, the arm is bent, not twisted... look at the elbow

yes but if you look at the elbow, the joint looks like the fore-arm should be at a different angle, (the twisting referred to the wrist). Judging by the light thingy the arm would be further back, so it should be thinner, but what exactly is wrong I just can't tell

It's a beautiful peace and I personally love the light and the colors, the only thing that caught my eye tho was that his neck is soooo long...O.o

Dude... this guy could totally be a game character. XD Yeah, the clothes need work, but your anatomy is amazing. The best way to learn clothing is to draw it, and maybe take a photo of one and paint over it so you can get the feel of the folds, wrinkles, shadows... how it lays on the body.
