AVATAR, THE LAST AIRBENDER!!!!!!i'd say, it's the greatest American anime EVER!!!
this is my first fanart of it!
it's to show my love for the Avatar show. it's freakin awesome.
I drew this a while back, but never actually colored it...
soooo now i colored it and here it is. lol
Aang's the Avatar,
Katara's the girl,
Sokka's the guy on the back,
they are all riding on Appa the bisen,
Momo's on Aang's shoulder,
and Prince Zuko!!! is on the background. he's so cool. heh.

Avatar is a good show, but American anime is exactly that: American.
I think american animation directors still have a long way to go... on the other and the movie director are getting more and more information out of manga and anime than ever... and making it work!

This has great composition; the way the clouds spiral into the corner around Zuko's head, and the bison's horn leads up to Zuko, while the curve of it's back leads to the other characters in order of importance. Plus, I love the tone of Zuko's skin.
