alright so, here's the tutorial a lot of ppl were wanting me to do.i only got through the Drawing part. my gosh it took me forever.
now i must work on the Coloring part... gaaaaah!!

um... question about your lineart. when you trace over your light sketches, do you draw dark enough lines so that when you scan it, it looks like solid lines instead of pencil lines? just wondering because i can't tell the difference in the drawing =/

i adjust them using photoshop. Brightness +10, Contrast +30
this makes the white part cleaner, and the pencil darker. lol

And how do you draw the eye first then the head? I usually draw the outline of the head then i fill in the face details and all that other good stuff... Damn, I wish i had your talent but I'm only in middle school so NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

It must have taken you a long time if you did this scan by scan at each step. (Well, I can't imagine how you would do it otherwise)
As far as the tutorial goes, I found that the unrelated chitchat was a bit excessive since you do want to concentrate on what you're trying to teach instead of the jokes
Something that I haven't noticed in your art until seeing the step by step drawing is that you draw your ears a bit short. The ear generally extends from the arc of the eyebrow to the bottom of the nose; however, the ears on Ryo (and other characters) don't go past the eyes in terms of height.
Other than that, the lineart is rather nice. I like how you do folds.
On another note, you can also use the "Levels" command (Images>Adjustments>Levels or Ctrl+L) to fix the darkness of the lineart. The first arrow controls the shadows; the second controls the midtones; and the last is the highlights. Moving something to the right darkens and moving something to the left brightens. This can help to make your pencil art even more similar to an ink job

To see that such a great artist like you can draw perfectly without those basic shape thingies, gives me real hope. I AM SO RELIEVED. Cuz I start with the eye first as well.

this one kid thinks i made these tutorials just to fool everybody when infact in reality, i draw all the
circles and basic shapes and stuff like that.
he says he 'knows' art, so he thinks nobody can get the proportions right if they didn't do the figures first.
well, i gave him a good laugh.
