I shaded the drawing on the left. There are a lot of different tools that can be used to shade! I tried all of them today, lol. I'm inspired by "Josh Art" on youtube he's really good at faces and shading them. I always thought smudging to shade was a no-go, but it actually works, I didn't have to smudge too much though. Eraser clay is good too to make highlights. The faces on the left are a mix of manga and realism...to describe it best it's my style of drawing. I'm not a big fan of the big-eyed manga characters, but I draw them too.
