"Hey guys and gals! Mr.O here and BOY did it take me AGES to finish illustrating my last piece for 2023's Halloween!"

(Mr.O sighs in relief)

"Regardless, I finally finished it and here it is, lots of the Gotham Rogues existing within the Twisted Metal universe, but how did this come to be? Let's find out shall we?"

WORLD-4095

"Once a year, the man known by many as Calypso runs a deadly tournament known as Twisted Metal, where drivers armed their vehicles to the teeth and rampaged across the streets for the main prize of having their one wish granted. At first, it took place everywhere WITHIN Los Angeles, but soon it expanded to everywhere in the world. France, Moscow, New York City, Hong Kong, Amazonia, you name it. Twisted Metal was everywhere except for a few hot spots."

"Some of these included Star City, Metropolis and...of course, Gotham City."

"Calypso planned to hold a tournament within these cities. However...he received an unexpected visit from an...interesting individual. He looked like a clown decked in purple-green clothing and he's known by one name: The Joker. Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime approached Calypso under a bridge and bowed in a dramatic manner. The two exchanged a brief conversation and while Calypso held his grin, he was quite wary of the clown, knowing about his reputation. Then, the Joker subtly demanded that Calypso let him into the tournament so to grant his wish of having control over Gotham. Still wary, Calypso gave into the demand and shook Joker's hand. However, this was a trick, for he was electrocuted by the clown's shock glove and then pulled into Hell once the Joker took out a demonic grimoire."

"Once Calypso was taken care of, the jester got immense god-like power and with it, he transforms Gotham into his playground, corrupting it beyond recognition, enslaves Batman, turning him into his demonic enforcer, and calls out every known criminal in Gotham. He lures them in with the chance of having their biggest wish granted...if they competed in his Twisted Metal tournament. It does not take long for many rogues and even some heroes to accept and they hit the streets with their very own custom vehicles."

"Who shall get their one wish?"

(Mr.O grins upon looking at his latest work)

"Well this sure is a TWISTED reality. Wonder who would even win that thing..."

"Didn't know how I wanted the Joker to look like at first, but I eventually came to a middle ground by giving him his classic purple and green clothes, but with different design patterns and a red tie fitting for a clown. Also gave him red glowing eyes to make him look more creepy and inhumane than he already is. As for the other characters, I changed their looks a bit to the point that they're still the characters we know and love, but LOOK as though they could exist in the Twisted Metal world. Although...for characters such as Clayface and Condiment King, I drastically changed their looks, with Basil Karlo looking like a disfigured monster hiding behind a mask and CK appearing to be a regular handsome guy in a suit. Trust me, his classic look would be too ridiculous for this world."

"Not gonna lie, this may NOT be the only time I touch upon this world. I might explore the lives of these characters with a bit more detail and include characters which I have not mentioned in the story."

"With that said, that's all from me, Mr.O and see you in the next world!"

(Turning up the Royal Azure's engines, Mr.O speeds off)
