Description
I originally started out drawing Light from Deathnote...worked on it a couple days and could not get him to look right. >< About 2/3 of the way I scrapped it and drew L instead... For some reason, he was much easier to draw
Can't say the same for the background; yuck, I always seem to take just as long on the background as I do for the character in the picture

Maybe it takes longer to do the backround because it isn't as interesting, not being the center of attention in the drawing an' all.

Love the angle and perspective, and you've got a really good clothes texture with the shadows too ^-^ I especially love the brightness of his eyes, you draw them really well

..sorry, but I just really LOVE cheescake.
Anyway, I don't see why you think the background is bad. But then again, I can't do BG's at all, so.. heh. Also, I agree with everyone, the pose is very interesting. It makes L look even more adorable than he is. So unless you didn't already gather from that, yes, I'm an L fan and I'm so glad you decided to draw him instead of Light. It's not that I hate Light.. but he just creeps me out sometimes O.o And of course, I'm still a little angry at him for killing L, thee hee.
