Wow.... This picture really grabs one's attention. So much emotion is conveyed with such simple postures. I get the feeling that in touching the picture on the wall, the girl (I'm so sorry for not knowing your character's name) Β is recalling a memory of someone she once knew. From the look on her face, This memory is likely bitter-sweet. Β And I sense a deep sadness/regret lingering in the air. Β As if she wants to reach out and touch something she knows is far, far away. Is that strange?Β
Perhaps I get this feeling because I've done this very thing, touching a photo of a long-lost friend whom I wish would see me.... Remembering the days when we would laugh together....
I love the colors, too. They're sort of dark and a little gloomy, adding to the bitter-sweet feeling.
A very touching picture, very nicely done. :3 I think I can safely say this is one of my favorites of your works.
