Time is a great expanseOf ocean teaming more with salt
Then life.
Hard minerals and glassy
Shards;
Tiny cubes that burn in cuts.
Light can hardly be held the
Same.
It is a rainbow confined so
Often to shine only once.
But the Universe moves,
Floats and expands,
All the same.
A thousand tiny things move
Hurriedly about
Crashing and zipping through.
They do not look to time and light
But with a laugh,
A wave goodbye and hello.
'Til you say it back,
And like time again...
Gone.
