This brat is Brine. He’s the reason Vapor has trust issues.
Poor Vapor was desperate for friends at the time. Brine took advantage of that and used him as some sort of verbal punching bag. Vapor didn’t even realize he was being made fun of most of the time.
He only realized he was being bullied when he was invited to Brine’s birthday at an amusement park. Where Brine used him to cheat at the carnival games. Once Vapor refused to help him cheat anymore, worried they would get caught, Brine and his other friends tricked him into one of the closed food bar’s kitchen hoods. Where he was stuck for half a day until the next morning when an employee found him.
Wade and Ember had a search party going.
When they got Vapor back, he didn’t cry or smile. He was just quiet and heavy eyed, and he just sort of stayed that way.
