When I was taking programming classes, I felt like that several times. Oddly enough, I spent 4 years at a community college for 2 different programs but only ever had to do one thesis and that didn't give me nearly as much trouble. I guess programming is just like that, lol.

I can definitely relate as I am studying animation and special effects too. Rigging is okayish...its the skinning and enveloping I REALLY hate. T_T

Ah, rigging. Such a joyful process. Hear the agonized screams echoing through the dimly lit hallways. she patches of hair in swept out of the way after being ripped out of the rigger's scull in frustration.
Truly, rigging is a wonderful, beautiful thing to want to do with your life

Which is why I dont go anywhere near it after that class dear Flamecaller I hated it.
I think yours is doing okay, concidering you have gone through several steps in creating this 3d raptor that I had to take several weeks on. But rigging is suck a snag.

And then you finish rigging and weight painting, and you realize that the leg's don't deform right or something.

Did the same thing as well for one of my animations, while my partner sat in defeat, staring at the screen. Wait until you venture into muscle simulation on your rigs. That is another beast to tame.
