I love this series of books. Seriously.Peter, Ender, and Valentine. : x I love their messed-up relationship, and the hold Peter and Valentine have on Ender that he never quite shakes off (the end of Xenocide, case in point).
Also, IkindofshipitIMSORRY.
The sexual tension between Ender and Valentine was there, and, well, it's really not hard to throw Peter into that mix.. and I love me some psychopathic megalomaniacs. So, good times. <<;
..you definitely don't have to view this in that light though rofl.
Also, I've always imagined the Formics' blood to be.. green?

I've only read Enders Game and Ender's Shadow. My friend owns them all. Have you read the whole series?

Oh! I've read through Ender's series - Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind. Ender in Exile just came out, but it's set between the first two books and I haven't finished it since I somehow managed to lose the book. >>; lol fail. I only read half of Shadow of the Hegemon, which is after Ender's Shadow.. I never liked Bean himself that much so I've been lazy with that series.
But either way, the Ender series is really good. I personally don't really care for the setting after Ender's Game, and it's more nature/biology-driven than like, classic battle/space sci-fi, but it's still good and heats up in the last two books. Great new characters, and Ender is still pretty messed up. 8D Fun fun.

Holy shit, this is awesome. Beautiful art, as usual--I love the way the whole thing is sort of back-lit; it gives the piece a kind of softness (despite its sexual edginess, mmm). I was on a huge OSC kick last month, but the Bean series disappointed me. Ender's is better? Thanks to you, if get any inkling of EnderxValentine, I'm sure it'll be worth it. You rock.

AND yeaah personally I much prefer the Ender series. I've yet to get too far in Bean's series, I'm like halfway through Shadow of the Hegemon.. but I'm reading more to see what becomes of Peter and Alai. I never much cared for Bean or Petra as characters <<; which.. is a bit of a problem
