Ah here's my latest piece.. Finally!!!One of the coolest games I've played in a long time.. inFAMOUS has such a great storyline (the ending KICKS-ASS
) and the gameplay is just too good!So I couldn't help myself but to make a pic for it.. This has taken me a while to do, mainly because I've been flatout with a special commish at the moment.. It's been way to long since I've drawn something for myself, so this really helped keep the motivation and passion going!
This has really been a learning curve for me, electricity is SO COOL TO DRAW!!! Plus I've been loving perspective..
Please let me know what you think! Maybe a little critique

Im impressed you could draw in that type of angle, like looking down on the character and the building. that's just amazing, and brilliant work on the lightning effect, brings the greatness out of the character

This pic is just really awesome. I think my favorite part's got to be his hands in the electricity--reminds me of any time the camera would get too close to Cole and we'd see him as a blue (or red) silhouette. It just surges with power (pun inevitable but wholly unintended).

this absolutely amazing i would love to make a posters of this for my room and post some pics on the web. And how about the same pic but with cole if you play the game on the evil side with cole in a more hunched over and savage posture and absolutely the red and black lightning ill even pay a commision if need be. AMAZING MAN!!!

I'm not one for super violent games, but at the same time inFAMOUS looks cool with the whole superpower thing. plus I don't have many PS3 games yet.
I'm also considering Super Mario Sunshine, which is obviously less expensive. plus I love Nintendo.

but I think the far background needs more Emp City. The blend is nice, but when I played it I always felt very urban, those skies just look weird to me.

Anyways back to the topic, this is pretty awesome!
Since Cole is using blue lightning in this pic, I find it strange that his clothes are a dirty gray. I thought that if he went evil, his clothes would look like that. Hmmm...and if he's good his complexion is clean and bright. Eh, that's just me! Good piece

I've been wondering when you would do this one. Good to have some great artist you can count on. My life is brighter now (thanks to the lightning...).
And I must say, that you puted Cole in... pretty painfull position. And pretty girly two. I mean, I would more likley see some heroine in that pose, not a badass parkour motherf-- bastard child of God Allmighty Zeus. And it feels strange to say those words, 'cuz I freakishly love drawing characters in poses as painfull as this one. And I am not entirely sure if I can see his facial hair. And even if there is, it would be nice to make it more visible. Or I am getting blind... either way, it bugs me, 'cuz I'm a total sucker for facial hair. And Cole in general.
Overall I like the art very much. The depth of the scenery is nice, I actually have the feeling that it's all happening on a very tall building, the angle is also nice. Though I'm not sure about the choosing of the color of the sky... I can't say if it means "your" Cole here is a good Cole or the Bad(ass) Cole. The only thing that comes to my mind is "Chaotic Neutral" - like in Duengons and Dragons. And the last thing that rubs me - while Cole is looking perfectly badass (next time I'll use the word "badass" in this comment, I'll give myself a serious slap in the face), how he should be, the Reapers are looking... a bit cartoonish, compared to him. Like they were the saturday morning's cartoon incompetent villans. Maybe darker colors or more shadows would do the trick...?
Even though I mainly complained about the pic, I still have the big desire to put this on the wall in my room. How about Alex Mercer from Prototype, as the next one, if we're in the parkour-themed space...?
