Description As you can tell I am running out of 'WET' type words Either I will have to think of some more - or stop drawing wet people

Loved the reference and for once I love the drawing (am I allowed to say I like my own work?) Still I think the tones, textures and expression are wonderful - a great emmotional picture with the added bonus of water, and it almost fits into my sporadic 'half face' series

Found this reference during a google search, and wanted to draw it instantly - searched twice for the owner, and could not find it - if you are the owner (or know the photographer) please let me know so I can give them the proper credit they deserve.

Nice Size this piece - 40X30cm on Bristol Board Smooth paper, using the usual suspects of 4H, HB, 4B and 8B Pencils, my Tombo Mono Zero eraser and pencil blending stick - in all between 20-25 hours give or take 5 hours

Yes, you are allowed to like your own work and to admit it out loud. Β  Β It is very well done. Β I like the expression on his face. Β The tonal qualities are excellent as well.

Thanks Kandi - appreciate your kind comments, it's encouraging to know that you are allowed to enjoy your own work, I do not think any of us are ever compleatly satisfied with what we do - but occasionally we can feel happy with how something has turned out

You're welcome. Β That is true. Β We often are our worst critics. Β We tend to see all the flaws because we lived with it for hours, days, weeks, or even months on end. Β It causes that type of reaction.

Hi Nick, when i do sleep I dream about drawing! If only we could create a machine to draw my dreams - er then again perhaps not Β 

I have just had a weeks holiday and spent most of it drawing - so plenty more to come

I quickly noticed that unlike your other water drawings the water droplets in this have shading all over and aren't mostly black and white with a little shade. due to the fact they're sitting on flesh. did you find it more difficult having to shade all the droplets ? it's an incredible job yet again. and hahaha love your description. yeah your titles were genius

I have to admit that this was more difficult than the other water drawings I have done - i had to 'learn' how to draw most of it, which is why i made a few mistakes - still really enjoyed drawing it, and love the final result - i may even put this one in a frame
