Appearing in "If You Pierce Me Do I/We Not Leak?", The Sentry was a scout based on the newly refitted Antares Class. The Sentry and her crew were at the centre of the story with the showing the pain of loss suffered by the crew of young trainees and cadets. The Sentry was one of only a handful of ships in Earth orbit (all in construction phases) when a group of primitive Borg attacked. The story ended with the Koorlyn destroying the Sentry as it had been taken over by the Borg. Only 2 Sentry Class ships were ever built, and the second wasn't ever commissioned, but was used as a memorial ship to remember the loss of the crew of the Sentry.
