UPDATE: I'm so sorry for hitting your inbox with this one again, but as I said below, my scanner sucks and I lost a load of details. But Ariel has her now and scanned her for me and it's soooo much better
You can see the details in her face and hair now

I'm finally almost finished with my prizes, just one more ATC to go
This one is for for catching my 50K kiriban. I hope you like it
The scan has wiped out some of the darkness and details because of the high contrast 
But thankfully Ariel you'll get to see them in the flesh Materials for this one:

This is really amazing, but you completely bluffed the hair; It looks terribly arranged against the lovely chaotic, unpolished glamorous realism of her face. Her hair in the photo had such interesting lines, I'm surprised you ignored it to improvise. Nevertheless, I know a fantastic drawing when I see one; Well done. But of course, a pat on the shoulder does nothing to move an artist to improve, now does it?

I was comparing it to the ref... your drawing has kind of a more defying look, mostly because of how you drew the eyebrow. I had my doubts on how you were going to do the frame of the shower door, because you still had not got to that part in the WIPs, but you did awesome. Also I think I like better the half-mouth you drew than the original.
When it gets here I'll scan it too, I'll see if my scanner does a better job, or if I can process it differently somehow. I also scanned Katy Perry's eyes but my scan looks pretty much exactly the same as the scan you got, so I didn't post or say anything about it. I don't know what will happen with this one.

I try and not get especially caught up with 100% likeness when it's not someone everyone knows, I love when that's not a worry, it makes it even more fun
I loved the reference from the minute you sent it, so it was a pleasure drawing it and the new textures were great too, I wondered about that frame myself for a while!
Thank you, don't worry too much, I don't like to change my images anyway once they are there, but I am glad you'll see it in the flesh. There's no 8B lumo on this one, I preferred the graphite shine, it worked pretty well for wet hair, but that's lost on the scan which is a shame
