I wanted to explore his relationship with Rune and Brumal, as well as his own faith. While Asperitas has unwavering faith in the Gods' existence, he doesn't see them as a positive influence. This complicates how he sees Rune, the prophet, and his own duty as a bishop. His admiration of Rune seems to be dwindling even further as of recent, starting to believe Rune wasn't the savior he previously thought he was.

The semi-divine are not perfect. One could blame this on their mortal side, but the Gods aren’t without Their flaws either. Sometimes the controversial actions of a semi-divine is all a part of the balance or simply respected by an individual God. The influence of a semi-divine doesn’t always have to be positive, it can just be an unsurmounted passion.
