I don't feel like typing up alternative titles this time, sorry. XP

Why not have the first picture I upload onto dA be of me comparing older art and newer art remade? Well, I decided to take two photos from my older days...my and days...god I was so fucking terrible back then. Anyway, here you go! Tell me what you think! Do you like the older or the newer better? I certainly like the latter images more. I suppose I could talk about why I chose the two specific images from my...um...glory days.

For the Metalilly1 one, I remember I was inspired by some people when I made that picture and I wondered how it would look remade. For the Abbi one, I have no idea what I was smoking when I made the original but I thought I could make it a lot better and I think I succeeded. I don't think I need to talk about the differences from each picture because you can look and see for yourself.

You've probably noticed that the newer images have more textures to them; that's cause for the skin on Lilly I made a skin texture out of using the noise feature on Photoshop and having the layer set to a certain layer to have it look like skin. As for the hair on both characters, I used a custom brush on Paint Tool Sai (a bristle brush I made) for the hair. I also used that brush for the trees with the picture of Lilly. The rock was made with a premade cloudy grainy texture I made a while ago with just adding cloud filters and noise. Everything else was made from either various custom brushes I downloaded from the web or stock images I have on Google Images. I do not claim ownership on the various brushes or stocks I used. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I got each brush and stock image so I can't really link them here unless if someone recognizes their work being used here. If so, notify me and I'll add it here ASAP! As for everything else, I own the created artwork but I do not own the meme I used. I own the characters and have not let them come out of my basement until now.
