Something i setup this morning and thought it looked cool enough for posting when i came home...A 'tribute' to the matrix jump prog scene. Ultra-simple work here, just 3dsm5, Brazil and the amazing Greeble plugin. Plus some color tweakage in PS

Oooo, all right, the thing that I like about this piece is a.) The duotones and b.) The fact that it doesn't just remind me of the Matrix, but it moreso reminds me of a movie that an old friend of mine has just recently shown me. It reminds me of a movie called Cube2... it's an AWESOME movie, it came out on video and was never shown in the theatres. You should check it out sometime. It's a really cool movie, and very low budget. The interesting thing about it is that it all takes place inside of this huge cube that numerous people are stuck inside of... nobody knows how they got there, and nobody knows how to get out. You can never follow a specific map or pattern, because it's like trying to find your way out of a Rubix Cube and you can never backtrack. In addition, there are numerous different dimensions inside of this four-dimension maze, and different timezones... The movie's just really twisted. I'd really recommend watching it if you can find it, because I think it'd be a great inspiration for some of your artwork. But make sure that it's Cube 2, and not the first Cube that was made in the eighties! I haven't seen the first one, but from what I hear the second Cube is MUCH better. And there ya' go... ^^;; I like the work, and ignore Neo because he's an inconsiderate bastard. It might not look exactly like the Matrix, but it has an awesome form of perspective. And I agree with Dannytello... When you concentrate on it, it really does feel like you're falling through a city, and I love that! Good job
