Oh dear, am I too late for the Flutterbat train?
This plush is certainly a milestone for me. First pony with my completely new pattern, first batpony, first open wings, first Fluttershy... and I'm really happy how everything turned out, especially the ears. I'm also glad my plushies finally have a butt. And what a butt!

Flutterbat features:

  • High quality Shannon Minky and Maderia Rayon embroidery thread
  • 16.5" tall, 17.7" long
  • Hollow polyester fiber stuffing
  • Silicone pellet filled hooves for effortless standing without the loss of cuddliness

Applebloom is not for sale (yet) and just wants to get her cutie mark in bat taming.

I'm guessing the eyes and cutie mark were done with an embroidery machine? If so, how did you program the machine with the pattern? ... That being said, if you didn't, much kudos to you!

Yep, all embroidered with a Brother SE400! I designed the stitch files myself with Embird.Β

It is very impressive, I recently came upon a Brother embroidery machine, my aunt didn't want it any more. But it only has an old style card slot, which is proving tricky to find how to program them o.o

Wish I had money to bid , tough I'mΒ not sure how I'd like the hard teeth though. I try to keepΒ my plushies soft everywhere on the body. ^^'

I figured you're a softy. I gave her some test hugs, though. Sculpey is a bad heat conductor, so they are actually warm to the touch. I anchored them with modified safety eyes, too, so she can definitely take a lot of hugs. And I used stainless steel wire, so she can be cleaned with water.

Though ironically enough, wire in fabric doesn't bother me too much.

Wow, that's pretty sweet! AndΒ I could only imagine stainless steel wire isn't cheap. I just spot clean... with rubbing alcohol.
