Name Meaning: Needle: sharp, brute personality/attitude. Wind: How knowledgeable he is

History

Needlewind was born as a blind kit, to him, he thought he was no different but other kits made sure to note that he was different. Being blind growing up was a bit of a struggle for Needlewind, having to use his other senses more which in turn, made him one of the best trackers in the clan! By the time of his apprenticeship, he started out as a warrior apprentice even though his mother wasn’t sure of the idea, but nonetheless, gave him all of her support.

Needlewind struggled during this time, he was good at tracking, scenting, listening but laying out an attack was almost always unsuccessful. This made Needlewind become a bit more irritable in personality, feeling as if he was useless to his clan.

After talking to his mother and leader about some optional choices, Needlewind thought with how good he could scent things, that maybe the Healer route was the way to go so he got right to it and learned under their former healer. Needlewind was almost a natural at this with remembering what each herb smelled like and where to place them on a cat. A few moons have come by and Needlewind finally earned his full name later than most healers, wanting to be precise in his work.

Needlewind served his clan as Healer from 25 moons to about 64 moons. Stepping down due to Starclan’s negligence.

Other things to note:

- Had a fling with Quickstrike, which resulted in a litter of three but two dying, leaving only Windstorm to be the only surviving kit.

- Became mates with Sandfang, had a litter of three, Sagebreeze, Slateshadow, and Stonepaw.

- Died in the Great War battling the Dark forest, protecting his former apprentice Bouncewind.
