Description

Among all the things I've done this last year, of course there was something Middle Eastern pigeon related

These were my first lessons with casting, where I've wasted tons of material to get the hand of it but I'm definitely satisfied!

So! Ablaqs and Msaweds belong to the Dewlap "superbreed", present in both Syria and Lebanon and known for their tall, upright stance and their powerful gullets. Ablaqs wear patterns like bars and checks, whereas a spread bird where a single color takes over is named Msawed.

Some crosses lead to birds with vibrant colored beaks like in the case of the Ajami, the white guy at the top right.

The tiger grizzle blackies at top left are called Kashmere.

The "ice" looking bird is a project a customer was working on. Excited to see a picture of the actual bird!

67 magnets have departed to their homes and counting, imagine how diverse are these two members of this huge family
