They now have webbed-feet and small arms, but they still can't swim and they don't really have a reason to have to. They wade into shallow water to search for shell-fish that they crack open with their hard beaks and eat, and if they get washed into deeper water by a wave then they will doggy-paddle back to shore. Also they can now store more water in the pouch on their chests for use in battle later on and they no longer stick together in pairs.
