Description
Background:
The planet Uboz is quite a dangerous place to live for its native inhabitants, as the violent fauna and flora try their very best to kill off the natives, however thanks to many great technological advancements over the years, the Ubozites finally had a chance of continuing their prosperous societies, however things were going to look a bit bleak when the BIGGER monsters were starting to awaken from their slumber. Thousands of huge beasts burst forth from the earth, ascend from the seas, and descend from the skies, these already humongous monsters varied in sized from a couple stories tall, to hundreds of feet/meters tall, the terror and destruction lasted for months with little hope to fight back against the wild titans, that was until an unexpected hero came to the rescue.

Origins:
According to the legends of early Ubozite tribes, Ghoorliath was said to be a creation by the mountain god, MGDS (Magdos), this 240ft/73.152m demigod was an avatar of destruction and fury, but not of darkness, but of light, Ghoorliath is described as the protector of Uboz, and many stories tell accounts of the turtle-like titan fighting off various giant foes, along with teaming up with other giants and going to strange alien places. During the height of the "Mega-Storm" as the apocalyptic event was called, Ghoorliath awakened from his 500,000 year hibernation, a bit late to the party as some might say, the titanic reptile then escaped from his mountainous tomb using his Power-Ray attack to destroy the top of the mountain, and just like that, the legendary protector of Uboz has returned to defend his people once more.

The Creature:
Ghoorliath is a monumentally large reptilian kaiju, having motifs and traits from creatures like turtles and theropod dinosaurs, as well as some vague mammalian traits. Ghoorliath has a large shell-like covering on his back, the shell doesn't cover his entire body, though this isn't a problem as this demigod already has super tough scales, these scales are able to resist most modern weapon systems like missiles, torpedoes, and even tactical nuclear strikes.

Its very obvious that Ghoorliath is huge, and he knows it too, as he uses his size to his advantage, charging into his foes and pinning them down, and his main weapons of choice are his powerful, muscular arms, he's able to bring plenty amounts of gargantuan pain with a flurry of punches and scratches, he also able to deliver dropkicks to his enemies just to give him some space, Ghoorliath overall is mostly a melee fighter, but he does have other tricks up his sleeves, and he's ready to use them at any opportunity, as his most notable secondary ability is to shoot out a bright green blast of pure destructive energy from his mouth, this is known as his Power-Ray.

The Power-Ray is a super heated beam made up of an unknown energy, he's able to control the size, distance, and intensity of the ray, anything struck by the ray is burnt and/or vaporized, though for the bigger creatures Ghoorliath fights it only gives them gruesome wounds. Though this weapon of his is very powerful and gets him out of inescapable situations, using too much of it will make him weak and he will need to recharge for awhile before he can get back into the fight.

Ghoorliath has other passive abilities as well, such as his prowess at swimming, being turtle-like in his design he can swim surprisingly fast through the ocean waters for something his size and build, he also has exceptionally great hearing thanks to his fanned ears, as he can hear and isolate sounds from thousands of miles away, his hearing also the reason why he woke up in the first place, the distressing sounds of screams, explosions, and thundering roars awoke him from his sleep.

Despite him using brute force all of the time, and living in isolation for most of his life, this gargantuan beast is very intelligent, and its confirmed that he is sentient and sapient, as he can communicate to other monsters, both friend and foe, through body language and vocal noises. His intelligence can also be seen as he is fighting, using fighting tactics and even learning the enemies' attack patterns and style, thus finding an efficient way to counter them.

Many question if Ghoorliath is part of a whole species of kaiju, or if he's a unique specimen, and although he's often referred to as a male, its not known what gender he is officially, if he even has one that is, even thorough researching in his DNA didn't give much detail what he was, either way, if you have a 240ft tall turtle beast defending your city, its sometimes best to not ask questions.
