Alpha v0.1 moved to scraps ([link] ). This is a week's worth of learning, and hair-ripping. Let's see if I'm moving in the right direction so far...EDIT: Fixed two text goofs, including one that keeps you from seeing that Sweetie Belle's skin costs 200 bits.
This is a game without a 'goal'. You screw around, gain money doing so, and use that money to buy more stuff to screw around with. You can start by bouncing that ball around indoors. (Caution: May or may not be buggy.)
Move with arrow keys, interact with X button. Click the shopping cart icon to browse whatever is available in the shop.
There's no way to switch back to being Applebloom after you buy the Sweetie Belle skin right now.
There are also no items being hidden from plain sight in the shop. The empty icons are merely a placeholder. There are only four items plus the skin available.

I wanna add something interesting for the Scootaloo skin that's not available, so all I have made at this point is one for Sweetie Belle.
I also left a programmer cheat somewhere. I wonder if anyone will find it?

This is really cute, as well as entertaining. I can see a lot more being added to this and making a short adventure (or you can make it really long, if you're feeling ambitious.) I think it's the simplicity that just makes it rather addictive. I think my favorite thing is the barrel. Once I figured out how it worked, I thought "this is the coolest thing." XD

Hey, what's SeaTone? I've been googling it but I can't actually find it anywhere. Is it similar to sfxr?

It was something I found under a list of software that can be used to make mods to Cave Story. I wouldn't say that it's similar to sfxr as in a nutshell, SeaTone handles up to four different channels per sfx but doesn't offer as many options as sfxr.
Seatone seems pretty horrible with memory management though, just a friendly warning.

Just FYI, when I first load the page, part of the screen was cut off, so I had to right click/ show all to see everything (using firefox).
I think this is a lot of fun, and you have the base coding in place to make a potentially awesome platformer. I'm looking forward to future updates
Oh, and little things matter, so adding the crouch scoot made this 20% cooler

I don't have a clue on how somebody's computer can mess up like this. Do you have the most up-to-date version of flash? Not sure if that does anything but it's the only thing that I can think of that might cause something to screw up like this.
